What we see here is the continued disrespect of all things American by the elitist and entitled who place themselves above our Nation.

No, what we're seeing is just the start of a backlash from many NFL players who don't want to be associated with a racist who forces patriotism on them for protesting racial inequality in the USA.

How many of them are quitting the NFL then, for doing so?

So you agree they are sellouts then?

At least KAP has stones, the rest.....nothing but false pride.

Why should they quit? The NFL gave them an out, they can stay in the locker room, and even if they kneel on the field they are not going to be fined, the team is. I'm sure some owners have said 'do what you feel is right, I got your back'. This is all to shut Trump up so he stops interfering in yet another business.

I am not saying they should, I am simply pointing out a bias. He was implying trump is forcing patriotism on them (when it is the NFL's rule, which I find rather hilarious hes blaming trump), but have no problem with the NFL or NBA forcing it on them either.

For some of you guys that said trump would not accomplish anything or has not accomplished anything, you guys are complaining about of stuff being accomplished and giving him credit for things he didn't even do. lol

Oh it most certainly is disrespect to the office of President of the United States of America and the institutions of our great Nation. There is a time and a place to exercise your free speech and they don't understand that fact as it is all about them.

Trump university education must be really working out for you.

Jeez, angry much?
Just who is your guy Swish and OCD? I hear a lot of complaining but not much positive .

For the record , I think Trump is a buffoon but the guy is doing a lot for the country so I will respect him.

Excuse me? You blatantly lied about my support of someone and then got called out on it.

I’m not angry. You’re just lost.

There is no one out there that I support for President right now. For the hundredth time, maybe it’s Pocahontas, but she has a loooooong way to go before I solidify my vote, if she even decides to run.

No... it is not... The utmost disrespect to the office is the orange rump that is in there... you want to talk about disrespect to institutions of the US... you better look directly at your tweeting moron...

the bottom line...you disrespected the office of the president by putting the least qualified idiot, whom will go down in history as such... and you're legacy to the US will be a stain... just like him...

I am not surprised you do not know.

I am sure when DC is meeting with a potential client and putting his best foot forward, he is so pleased when some of the coworkers he has brought with him begin to chastise the potential client for underpaying his people and not offering them proper benefits.
He most certainly respects their free speech at this point.

They disrespect the potential client.
They disrespect their own company.
They disrespect themselves when the client is lost and their business suffers.

There is a time and a place to exercise your free speech and this isn't that time.

Well Willit, when the POTUS interferes in protests by taking a side, then continues to use his office and political bully pulpit to undermine the platform of the opposing side; he is to blame when the business caught in the middle does what it needs to do to stop the bleeding.

I can't ever remember a POTUS targeting businesses like this one does. The NFL, Amazon, Facebook, Carrier... POTUS shouldn't be picking winners and losers or dictating who has a right to protest when and how. He should be handling matters of the state and maybe learning about the law and constitution.

The protest started before he was elected, and this was an issue before he tweeted anything about it. the NFL was losing viewers before he ever got involved. Their bottom line is all they care about (right or wrong), and they would not have allowed it to continue, trump tweet or no trump tweet.

So before the tweets, the owners were backing the players and some even joined in kneeling. They were catching flack but still did this out of respect to freedom of speech. Then Trump whipped up the base and the bigots with his tweets and the real hurt hit the owners, who made this rule out of desperation to stop the bleeding and stop Trump from targeting them further. Yet in your mind he had nothing to do with it?

I’m only stating what the right will use against her.

Trump can’t stop talking about the nfl protest and national anthem.

He’s on twitter still running his mouth about it.

And I'm betting he couldn't even recite the pledge of allegiance, without the help of his sheep.

Oh, so now there are rules as to where and when you are permitted to exercise your free speech? I hadn't seen those rules.

And it's funny, you didn't seem to have a problem with Trump disrespecting Obama with his lies that he was a Muslim who was born in Kenya. I guess disrespecting presidents only applies when it's a president you like and the one dishing out that disrespect isn't the current president which you support.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Sort of..

I understand why he would say this and why he thinks he will get away with it.. he spent 4 years in West Virginia, well known for its tolerance and acceptance, and he has spent the last 4 years in the NCAA where he is used to obedient players who work for free to make their institutions richer while having no voice to change it...

Which owners joined in kneeling during the Anthem? The key words there are 'during the Anthem'... not before (I remember Jerry Jones doing this beforehand as a sign of understanding... but several Cowboys have also been on record as saying that it was made very clear not to kneel during the Anthem.)

I'm pretty sure there are no rules that say you can exercise free speech while at your place of employment. Especially when it directly causes thousands of paying customers to not show up, and millions to not watch on TV.

This isn't a free speech issue. At most it's a collective bargaining issue.

Nope doesn't matter at all. Only thing that matters is Comrade Presidentski the Orange Grand Poobah trying to be at the center of everything and setting a horrible precedent as the first traitorous fascist racist POTUS.

I'm telling you, going on the internet and ranting about the President all day is not good for you. I saw what it did to PDF, and I see what it's doing to OCD.

Some of you guys just need to get some work done, get some exercise, go outside and get fresh air. Grab a burger and a beer with a friend. It'll do you well.

This is more likely...

...He keeps subtly looking out of the corner of his eye at the camera knowing he’s got to wear his ‘patriotic’ mask... and then that smile at the end is the most creepy disingenuous thing. Yikes. How anyone can not see the guy oozes insincerity is beyond me.
