Just don't preach fairy tails to my kids about how inanimate objects brought themselves to life and call it science when in reality it's just a different religion. At the least accept it as an unproven theory that is only a theory and not a proven fact.
I actually prefer that theory of evolution be taught in schools. However I would also prefer that the ideas from other cultures being taught too from a historical aspect. I think it's great to expose kids to how people from all over the world have come up believing this or that from hindu, taoism, buddhism, christian, jew, muslim, and other beliefs. I have studied them all myself and find them fascinating. I am very tolerant towards people having their own ideas even when I disagree with them.
I just don't tolerate hate covered up in fake words and intent. I always say things just as I mean them. I don't think any of you think of me as someone who sugar coats things. I am very honest about what I believe and I speak plainly so there are no misunderstandings to the best of my ability. I don't asked to be liked. I am fine with people not liking me at all. Don't get me wrong I am human. I would prefer people like me and get along with me. I just don't expect it or crave it. The Bible tell me so:

The part where he explains that religious people are being forced not to express their beliefs in public. I am not talking about school either, as I am a firm believer in church and state. However, look at the backlash guys like tebow received etc.
IDK about being persecuted, however the part about shoving them in the closet certainly makes sense. I have seen it in my time. I am not religious one bit, I would classify myself as agnostic.
