Completely agree.
These Federal Judges making rulings that effect the entire Country and being overturned each time by the Supreme Court is ridiculous.

The Supreme Court was biased long before the Trump travel issue. The idea that RBG has essentially stated that she wont retire under a conservative president to prevent a conservative from taking her liberal seat is sickening. Please show me where her seat is earmarked as a liberal resting place.

well no effin crap...but that does not mean or imply that her replacement has to share her ideology...she can hardly function as a judge at this point and has difficulty staying awake through hearings..IE she is not fit for her job at this point in her life...she needs to move on...but she wont for political reasons...the court was never to be politicized.

Yea, this issue was a tough one for me because at the core of it, the main job of the President is to safeguard the citizens. On the flip side, Trump and his team were so incompetent in this instance that they had to rewrite the ban several times to get it legal. On top of that, it's unclear whether the ban as constructed would actually be effective.
At the end of the day, it's an EO, and easily changed if the executive wants it to happen. I'm less concerned about this than items that get turned into law.

I think the only permanent ban was for Syrian Refugees. The reason I haven't read into this as much is because it's easily reversible and at least at face value, falls under the purview of the main job of the POTUS. My concern with this admin deals with stuff that isn't as easily reversible, like court appointments and starting trade wars with countries we aren't at war/sanctioned against.
