Good post, but I don't like putting blanket statements on things like "laws." They are made by men who do so w/a purpose that is typically self-serving.
Do you think members of the Underground Railroad were criminals because they broke the law? Would you like to have seen them punished?
What about German citizens who helped hide Jews from the Nazis? They broke the law. Would you be okay w/them being punished?
Were you a fan of Asian immigrants facing much stricter immigration entry laws than the European's at Ellis Island?
What about people of Japanese ancestry being put in camps while German citizens roamed free in the USA during WWII?
Do you like seeing a rapist serve less time than a dude who gets caught w/drugs?
There are a lot of dumb laws. There a ton of unjust laws. Blindly following "laws" get you Germany during WWII.
