Pandora also has the ability to create comedy channels. I have a Jim Gaffigan channel. It’s great.

Pandora is great, although it's customized to your tastes, so you don't necessarily get to choose what you listen to, it's an awesome way to discover new music though.
I have actually discovered some of my favorite artists because of that. Many of you have read my posts about Beth Hart, Joe B, Melody Gardot, Alvin Lee, etc. I had heard of most of them, but never listened to them. Damn! Thank God for Pandora! I love putting together cool stations too. Combining different styles and seeing what comes up.

Everything has been a letdown since MOG was sold to Dre and became "Beats".
I notice with every service a propensity to play the same songs, artist by artist, almost as if they have all never penned more than five songs.
One thing that has to change... there will be no "We Will Rock You" without "We Are The Champions" following. Along with the twenty other similar scenarios. C'mon man!
Could not agree more with Vers and the "thumbs up / thumbs down" on Pandora... if you invest the time, it's well worth your while.

Yeah, thumbing is the key. Do it a lot and then after a month or two, they pretty much got what music you love.
You guys will probably laugh at me because my kids did. But, I am amazed at how they know what music I love. I had this voice come on one time and said some stuff about me liking music w/a backbeat and 12 bars or something like that. And me, being the musical dummy that I am..........said, "What?"
But, they played stuff I liked, so I guess I get it. LOL

I forgot all about Pandora. It's really good too. I like how you enter an artist or group, and they create a "similar" playlist.
