I have no idea how you can makes excuses for Trump. Even some on FOX News and in the Republican party are waking up to it.

Regan not only talked about peace through strength, he backed it up. Trump has done no such thing as seen by his news conference.

The Republican congress has backed Trump at every turn. So has the Republican senate. There is zero evidence to your claim that Republicans don't like Trump. His approval rate among Republicans is over 80%.

I agree with you in that Obama was very concerned about his legacy.. don't get me wrong, I think he was trying to do what he thought was best, but his legacy was always on his mind. He not only wanted to do a good thing, he wanted to make damn sure his name was forever associated with it..

I think the same thing of Trump though.. I think it's very important to Trump that he be admired and recognized as this magnificent leader and I think that his ego gets in the way quite frequently. In some ways that's why I believe NK and Russia are so important to him.. it's not just about peace, he desperately wants to be able to say he accomplished something nobody else could.. by whatever means necessary.

If I recall, it was announced as part of the original deal and was always on the record as being part of the deal.. now as for why it was crated and shipped in secret.. I can only imagine that even the federal government, with all of it's security, doesn't make it a point to announce, "OK, so we are going to have hundreds of millions of dollars in cash sitting on pallets out at the airport this afternoon."
