It would be better if Collinsworth wasn't on it.

i love when there's a fumble and the ball is bouncing on the ground.
all sense of practice and training goes out the window, and nobody knows whether to dive on it, try to pick it up and run, or just start pushing ppl out the way.

I think Collinsworth is excellent. I hated him as a player and didn't like him when he first began announcing. However, no one is more prepared than he is. He is excellent as a color guy if you want to hear about football. If it's just about "likeability," than I might agree w/you.

He's been doing it for a long time, so he must be good at his job. I don't mind him, he's got a good voice/sense of timing and situation.
Anyway, to the spirit of the thread, I'm glad it's back tonight, even if it's just a garbage pre-season game.
Go Bears!!!

I think he is raw as can be and his speed sucks.........but, I watched him block at Oklahoma and the guy was a stud. He was part of the best collegiate line in all of college football. He was also the star of that line.
I think he is better than most folks think.

The NFL is hard to watch on Television.
I don't like interviews of players or anybody while live action plays are going on, that's one reason. It looks like nearly every play, at least 7 times the eventual tackler lowered their helmut/head to make initial contact and it wasn't called a penalty.
The NFL has been difficult to watch for several years now, there are so many commercial breaks I think I always watch at least 2 other shows at the same time.
There really isn't any two teams that could match up that I'd think would be a game I just have to not miss, unless it's a Browns playoff or Super Bowl matchup.
It's the Hall of Fame game, it's the VEry FiRst matchp of live action in the NFL in over 6 months and Trubisky can't even take 3 snaps in a "kangaroo court of a series start" ?, I find something wrong with that.
There are a ton of reasons the NFL is difficult to watch, not the least of which is the favoritism of certain groups set aside for celebration because of the market they played in or other things.
For one I don't think Urlacher was anything special.
They are a quarter and 4 minutes into the game and the broadcast is already treating the game like it is the final 5 minutes of a 4th qtr blowout.
I haven't liked Al Michaels for decades, yet there is no chance for variety, if there is a supposed "marquee" matchup, of any kind, He is darkening the door of my television broadcast nearly 100% of the time.
Just a few of the reasons the NFL is difficult to watch on television, It almost kind of makes me miss the "good parts" of John Madden's broadcasts.
Anytime the NFL booth directors show two guys wearing ties in the booth, they might as well be negative 1000 points in my book.
At least it's almost a chance for the regular season to start, yet since 2007, what does that mean.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Pigskin returns! ::Much cheering!
A lot of "Who is THAT?" tonight. But it is not golf, tennis, poker, world cupped soccer, and so on. Football.
And despite my feeling for Ray Lewis, I am watching, and muting the girly spots, and appeased.
I am watching football.

I think it is pretty cool how Randy Moss has matured. I think it is cool how he is honoring the hall and not making this about him like TO is.
I also think that Randy Moss was the most explosive, dangerous receiver who ever lived. I am not saying he was the best, but the dude's speed and amazing catching radius scared the crap out of all defenses who had to try and defend him.

great interview by Randy Moss ... so humble and centered. Well done
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Chris Farley as Matt Foley, motivational speaker, on Saturday Night Live, With David Spade and Christina Applegate on the couch. " young lady what do you want to do with your life?' " I want to live in a van down by the river." Well there will be a lot of time for doing that, when you're Living! in a VAN!! down by the RIVER!! ( we've got ourselves a regular Bill Shakespeare here, but son "it looks like you've been using your papers not for writing, but for rolling doobees") Classic, start to finnish, "I'm moving in" "lock the door honey" " I love you Daddy" . Yes that kind of motivational speaker.

i thought he would be good too if he dedicated, cause that combine was rough.
but so far in this game, he's absolutely handling the RT spot right now. nobody is getting by him.

Ravens are gonna struggle putting up.points this year. Willie Snead and Michael.Crabtree are worse than Maclin and Wallace at WR. they will be in the cellar this year

I disagree w/that almost completely.
I think the that Crabtree is very good. Snead is tougher than Wallace.
I'd say that it's a wash.
I think the Ravens are probably ranked second in most power rankings in this division, but I could be wrong.

Do they still do the party the night before the parade, bro.
I lived in alley just off of 12th and Fulton back in the day. We threw huge HOF parties. I remember taking 6 different females to my BR on one of them. The stoners were counting them out for me. LOL

Oilers had a good defense in the 70s Curly Culp Greg Stemrick Elvin Bethea Robert Brazile seemed like the MNF crew loved the Oilers especially Meredith. too bad Dan Pastorini held that offense back. Kenny Burrough would have 6 guys on him and Dante would throw it anyhow pick. he was a INT machine
