At least I'm not the reason victims of rape and domestic violence don't speak out sooner. If you think that's vile, so be it.

Alright. I hope you can find 12 people to tell you if Zach Smith beat his wife. His words are obviously no good to you. Until then, don't respond to me. If you do, I might think you're playing.

I could care less what you're hateful self thinks about me. You are resorting to the same deflecting techniques as Vambo is.

You also are leaving out a ton of facts, such as the number of calls she made to the police and how they quit responding to her because they deemed her to not be a credible witness.

Like I said, you resort to the same underhanded, slimy tactics as Vambo does. You two deserve one another.

Have you read anything about the case? Honest question.

You're arguing that Zach Smith didn't beat his wife, despite admitting it to her, because she called the police multiple times? Do you know why she called the police so many times?

https://abc6onyourside.com/on-your-side/...-and-zach-smith

Quote:
POWELL, Ohio — Police and 911 call reports from Powell police and the Delaware County Emergency Communications dating back to 2015 obtained by ABC 6 Investigates include a dozen calls to police by both Courtney and Zach Smith..

Courtney Smith called police three times in October 2015. In the first call, she stated she felt like she was being watched by a suspicious person. That report shows she told police about having issues with her soon-to-be ex-husband.

In the second call, Courtney Smith told police her husband refused to give their son back even though it was her time with their son. She stated then they were going through a divorce. The next day, police took a report from Courtney Smith about a domestic incident at her home the night before and how she’s been a victim of sustained physical abuse.Courtney Smith also called police saying she wanted to file a restraining order.

In November 2015, Courtney Smith calls police with a stalking complaint.

Two years later, in December 2017, Courtney Smith tells police a neighbor spotted her ex-husband banging on her door, looking in the windows and tearing down a Christmas wreath. The report shows Zach Smith was given a trespass warning.

This January, Courtney Smith calls about Zach trying to get their kids because she was going out of town with them. The same day hours later, Zach Smith calls police to say Courtney took their kids across state lines when it’s not allowed in their divorce agreement.

In March, Courtney Smith calls police for a well-being check on their children at their dad’s house after she said they were crying while they face-timed and she could hear a male yelling in the background. Police reported the kids were okay.

In May, Courtney Smith calls about a trespassing at her house.

In July, Courtney Smith calls again stating her ex is stalking and harassing her. She also handed over text messages but police found no criminal violation with those.

ABC 6 On Your Side reached out to Brett McMurphy and Stadium about their exclusive interview with Courtney Smith. McMurphy says Courtney was not paid one cent for any information or interviews. A spokesperson for Stadium told us the exact same thing that she was paid nothing.

She called them over a dozen times in 3 years. That's not that many times for repeat 911 callers, but whatever, I'll let you have it. So it looks like half her calls are to report Zach for trespassing and the other calls are to check on the welfare of her children. What a witch. He also calls the police multiple times on her, but I don't see why YOU would think that would make him less credible. Before I get to the idea that police can find witnesses to be non-credible or that they stop responding, which are both equally preposterous for separate reasons. Would Courtney have a reason to try to call the police so much? Well, in her text message to Shelley Meyers, Courtney tells Shelley that she's trying to get a protection order.

Well, part of getting a protection order, especially a criminal one (which she got last month, which is why the story broke), one must prove that they are in danger. I don't think you've ever talked to a woman about legal protections from Domestic Abusers, but it's very hard to prove domestic violence. Many times most women have to settle for a civil protection order, which has a lower proof burden than DV does. So calling the police every time you suspect that your abuser is stalking or harassing you, gives you a better case for a restraining order and can save their life! And it paid off because, again, in July she was granted a restraining order against Zach Smith.

Also, police cannot find someone to be a credible witness, especially when they are a victim. They also do not deal with answering calls, that job is for dispatchers and they do not pick and choose which reports go out to the police, because all reports go out to the police. You can find police reports detailing "crimes" done in someone's dreams. They will never not respond to a call, even if it takes them a long time to get to your place, they will get there. The only place where I've seen people say that Courtney isn't credible and the police stopped showing up, were on forum posts on DT that got deleted for being unsubstantiated rumors.

So you have tried and convicted Mr Smith from media reports. That is dangerous and exactly what Vers is trying to point out. If a credible investigation says Smith did those things then Vers will agree with the outcome. From everything I read he is just saying wait until there is some kind of due process.

Zach Smith said that he choked Courtney Smith twice. I don't need a court or the media to tell me whether or not that's credible. I know this is uncommon for people who are not independent thinkers. However, if you do want a court case, go poll the 12 morons in central Ohio, who haven't heard anything about this case, and make your decision on what they think.

You're right. I am also saying that this discussion from both Vambo and CHS has no place on this thread. I'll talk about domestic violence. I'll even talk about domestic violence and people involved w/football. I just think that should be its own thread. I don't think resorting to such guttural tactics to win some board argument is called for.

If I wanted to stoop their level, it would be easy because one of the main characters in the kneeling situation was investigated for sexual misconduct. According to CHS, an accusation equals guilt.

But, I won't go there.

If it's a lie then prove me wrong. Find where you have spoken up or protested against domestic violence committed by police and NFL players. If it's a lie it should be easy to prove me wrong. Right? I think we might need a trial to get an actual result.

Did it take the full 4 days to get from the low road to the high road? Also you botched the details of that case. While he was an accessory of rape, she consented to have sex with Kaep, but was raped by the two men who were with Kaepernick (Kaep, reportedly left the room). It makes no difference to me, they're all crapstains for that, but he didn't rape her. She also woke up in a hospital bed with no memory of how she got there. So yeah, it's safe to say I believe her too. However, you must not because there wasn't even a criminal charge. How can 12 people tell you what to think if they don't even get a chance?

The funny thing is that you consider being like Vers as an insult when you're you. Of course you're only bringing Vers up so much, because your social skills literally revolve around 'no u' arguments, which is why you post images and emoticons, devoid of any substance, on the internet like a 12 year old, prepubescent girl.

NFL Hall of Fame Game Ratings Hit Low

Ratings, viewership, down 18 percent

http://www.sportsmediawatch.com/2018/08/nfl-hall-of-fame-game-ratings-lowest-years/

NFL Hall of Fame Game ratings were the lowest on broadcast television in at least 20 years.

Thursday’s Bears-Ravens NFL Hall of Fame Game earned a 4.1 rating and 6.77 million viewers on NBC, down 18% in ratings and viewership from last year (Cowboys-Cardinals: 5.0, 8.2M) and down 38% in both measures from 2015, the last time the game aired on a Sunday night (Vikings-Steelers: 6.6, 11.0M). The 2016 game was canceled due to field conditions.

The Ravens’ win ranks as the lowest rated and least-watched Hall of Fame Game in six years, since Saints-Cardinals on NFL Network opposite the Olympics in 2012 (1.2, 1.97M).

Excluding games on NFL Network, it was the lowest rated and least-watched Hall of Fame Game in at least 20 years. The previous lows were a 4.7 and 7.4 million for Washington-Indianapolis in 2008.

Bears-Ravens scored a 2.0 rating in adults 18-49, down 20% from last year (2.5) and down 44% from 2015 (3.6). Notably, the 2.0 does not even rank as the top demo rating of the week. NBC’s America’s Got Talent had a 2.1 on Tuesday.

It also had a 1.5 rating in adults 18-34, down 17% from last year (1.8) and down 48% from 2015 (2.9).

The Hall of Fame Game has in the past been a useful indicator of the NFL’s dominance, comparing favorably to major postseason events in the other sports. This year’s audience trailed all 14 games in the NBA Conference Finals, coming closest to Celtics-Cavaliers Game 3 (6.83M), but did top nine of last year’s 12 MLB League Championship Series games. Keep in mind several LCS games aired in the afternoon.

If the Hall of Fame Game were a college football bowl, it would have ranked ninth out of last season’s 36 games on Nielsen rated networks.

Baltimore was Thursday’s top market with a 16.9 rating, followed by neutral market New Orleans at an 11.8. Chicago was third at a 10.6.

I want everyone to read this carefully and then laugh your asses off because of how freaking absurd it is.

Seriously? That is the punchline. A meaningless exhibition game where hardly any starters are playing and you are comparing them to the NBA Finals, College football bowl games, and MLB Championship Series? rofl
