“There is a certain way that the Cleveland Browns have to play, and we are going to earn our stripes. The guys that put them on their helmets and get the chance to wear them, it is going to be because they demonstrate the characteristics that we are looking for in Cleveland Browns players. That is the way that they are going to play, that is how we are going to conduct ourselves and go out and win football games.” https://brownswire.usatoday.com/2018/06/...-browns-player/ Play like a Brown? Every time I hear that phrase I think of Holmgren in a cart, sipping on a cocktail and being useless for some reason. Wasn't that Pettine's slogan? It sure was... but each and every time someone says it, I get that memory/image of Holmgren.

Ok Josh, time to come back. You need some practice with the QBs before the season starts bro.

Call me crazy, but I think it's a neat tradition. Money or not, this is a sport so something like this helps to have a rite of passage type of thing.
WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM my two cents...

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
