Oh, and Christy, your team has only won ONE championship since the 70s and I love how you try to dismiss a championship because the name of the trophy was changed. The Browns were NFL champions, just as the Steelers were. Of course, that's the only thing you can do to try to make it look like a huge difference in the histories. Your distortions aren't reality, Christy.
WHERE did I "dismiss" a championship? Show me, please. All I said was that the Browns haven't won a championship SINCE 1964. You accuse others of twisting things around, yet here you are at it again. Good Lord.
1964........were you even alive then, CoachBee?

By saying they haven't sniffed a Lombardi trophy. The fact is that they won 4 championships regardless of the name of the trophy. Oh, and you're team's only one ONE since the 70s. Does 10 years REALLY make a difference? Only when you're trying to further your twisting of things.

Come on Christy... I know you have better smack than that.
That wasn't my post, that was Steel's. Duhhh.
Sorry, I saw the Steelers helmet, and automatically assumed it was you. I knew your smack was better than that. Steel's, well that was one of his better ones.

Because all you are doing is referencing a new trophy. The FACT is that the Browns have won 4 championships. It doesn't matter what the name of the tropy is. It's immaterial, yet you make it sound like something it isn't.

No, I said that the Browns are one of six teams that never even played in a Superbowl. THAT was the reference to the Lombardi.

Apparently, you did miss something. You didn't count all the games played. you ignored the ties because it made the Steelers look better. They've played 1063 games and only won 531. Therefore their winning percentage is .499, as I stated. Learn math, please. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You have a point Coach, but I always have looked at ties as NA. That said, Steelers Overall Won/Lost % is above 500. There is however 2 very distinct sides to the Franchise. From 1933 Through 70, (37 yr's) they pretty much stunk. From 71 to Present (36yrs) they are approx 125 Games over 500, and #2 in the NFL in terms of win % Only behind the Dolphins. Much as I liked the old man (Art Sr.), he was more Race track Oriented than Football. Seems like when the kids took over, they knew what to do & have All I want to see at this point, is our Rivalry come back together, and to hell with the Bungles and Criminals. I'm predicting at least a 500 season for the Browns, with a shot at 9 - 7 in 07. I do believe this is finally the turn around year & I've never said that before since the Franchise has been back BTW -- File this one away, for if my prediction comes true, GM will owe me a Fillet Mignon with all the trimmings. You know, The old man is approaching 79 and may not remember. Just sayin

You can't simply make up your own rules for calculating W/L percentages, there is a formula for it........that being that you divide the total number of games won by the total games played.
You don't just toss away the ties Hitless..... You don't start calculating from 1974 on Hitless....
You're under .500 Hitless......

I see you're at it again. Because of how pathetic the Clowns have been over the last 15 yrs. or so , you try so hard to demand respect and acceptance by cramming down everyones throat the 4 tinkerbell NFL titles the Clowns won that nobody was even around to see. Give it up, 'cause it ain't working. That was then, this is now, and right now, the Clowns reputation around the NFL is that they still suck. The only way to to gain respect from the rest of the NFL is not to remind everyone of ancient times, but to do only one thing......just win baby!
