What the hell does this mean? This wasn't some "leak". This was either someone knowing something but afraid to put their name to it, OR made up. So, you're saying I can make up anything I want, and then leak it, and it should be treated as truth? Anonymous. No need to fact check/verify anything? Neat. Interesting what passes for journalism now. Why is everyone that could be involved denying it? Trust me, it's not the money or the job. If it was true, and verifiable, whoever it was would have more money than they could count. If it was true, putting a name to it, and verifying it, would certainly lead to 'saving' this country. If the White House starts looking for who "leaked the story" I would consider that there must be some truth to it. I'm seriously confused by the fact you can't seem to grasp that when the White House is, "looking for the leaker" and Trump tweeted "TREASON", that THEY'RE the ones who provided the validity to the story. Before that time, I had no idea what to make of it.

If it's a leak, as the White House has claimed, it wasn't "made up". You don't look for someone inside the White house that leaked something that was never there to be leaked.
