Learned two things from these recent post.

1) Harrison is continuing to progress. Like seeing him advance in his run blocking.

2) How to embed tweets.

What's a tweet??? lol laugh

Harrison he is also very excited to be out there he showed a lot of respect to our Rookie QB which is always good to know we got a kid who would give it everything he has to protect his Franchise QB. If he stays INTENSE in his reps we got a winner here.

I hope we run a lot to the left as they, Harrison and Bitonio can beat up on that left side and take away what little pass rush they had away!

Think about this.

We could come out of this draft/UDFA with our long term starting LT, QB, WR, CB, and it appears that we will also have a starting OLB/DE in Avery.

We also drafted a G, RB, WR, and DE who could develop into useful players.

Color me impressed, Mr Dorsey. Obviously they have to continue to grow ..... but Harrison, Baker, Ward, and Avery sure appear to be guys who could develop into special players.

Teams often speak of needing 4 cornerstones; QB, LT, shutdown CB, and pass rusher. If we got all 4 of these in this draft/UDFA, man, that would be incredible.

I forgot to mention Callaway in there as well.

Baker, Callaway, Harrison, Ward, Avery. *Boom* wink

It's still early, but this could be the off-season that really sets the team up for the future.

As much as I want to find another guy with similar traits to Ogunjobi for the interior of our D line. I'm ready to overdraft Josh Allen, OLB Kentucky in round 1. Pass rush, run defender and coverage skills. Dude looks like the truth. Avery and this dude, man we would be lethal.

As I have posted before....this is just year one of what Mr. Dorsey has built.
We still have the cap space and draft picks to continue this build for the future and the future sure is bright!

P.S. And one quick shameless plug....come one come all....The future is just as bright on "The Isle of Optimism"

It was a panic move, installing an UDFA as the starter 2 days before the start of the season. What an idiot!

I assume a minimum snap count is necessary.

I questioned starting him in game 1, but Hue made the right decision.

Same here. I didn't have a problem with Hue making him the LT I just thought he should of eased him into it since Harrison hardly played with the first team offense in pre-season.

He's been as good as you could hope IMO. Very happy with the early returns ... he'll only get better now

It is, but I do not know what that number is, or how many qualified this week.

This is some good news. As someone said, if he turns out to be average, then this is one heck of a find.

That really is a harvest of real players. If they have any upside for second year, and it seems that, indeed, they have plenty, we certainly improved towards out future.

Hats off to Dorsey so far. I am impressed. thumbsup

not really much of a drop off from Joe Thomas. Harrison is potential Pro Bowler.
and its also proof the Browns should have drafted AP in 2006

I've watched him pretty closely .. he's so athletic and smooth in pass Pro and on the move to the 2nd level. He makes it look effortless at times.

I Think he has a good future

If he had been a high round pick I don’t think we’d be disappointed. For an UDFA, he is surpassing expectations by a mile. Just imagine how good he could get? He’s an physical phenom with tools that are rare and cannot be taught. I’m really impressed so far. Props to him.

I would be curious to see an unbiased comparison/grading of Joe Thomas' rookie year performances versus Harrison's.
Seriously.

That's how high his ceiling is, and beyond. He has strength and physicality that Joe could only ever dream of. Hell, even Joe says that if he can learn how to be a Pro and learn technique, he will be FAR better than Joe ever was.

I honestly agree. If he were a highly picked player, I think people would be singing his praises much more.

Does anyone know his contract length? That might get sticky if it's just a 1 year deal.

I knew this kid had the skill set before the draft. His skill was never the question. Yet it was raw skill that needed refined. There were also serious character issues surrounding the kid. I actually saw him as the only kid coming into the draft with the natural skill set to play NFL LT in the entire draft.

Still, with that being said, I could have never imagined that he'd make the transition this well, this quickly. He's still far from polished but he's certainly far exceeded any expectations I've had to this point.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

This is what I’ve been saying all along. If Harrison is a league average player than he is a huge value. If he is better than that then he is among the best values in the league.

I'm going to have to say if you can get a kid who is an average NFL LT as a UDFA that in itself is among the best values in the league.

think about having Harrison and Baker (LT and QB) under contract at those rates .. that'd be incredible

If these youngsters continue their current trajectories, Dorsey hit a freaking Draft Grand Slam.

let's just hope we actually win a few freaking games with them before their contracts become too much and we'll have to leave some of them unsigned

That is one of main worries right now. Many of these guys are already really good and we are wasting games this season.

Yep, believe it or not Myles Garrett will be looking for a new contract sooner than we all think ... he's gonna want a monster deal in 18 months

IMO if you're a starting LT in this league and the natives aren't after you with pitchforks and trying to burn you at the stake, you must be doing ok.
