Were pretty much on the same page dawg ...

I like the way the Stilers use AB ... big games, big spots he’s back there ...

I think Ried is out of his ever loving mind letting Hill return punts on a full time basis ...

BUT i think both Hill and AB have the same risk but a much higher reward ... they can take it to the house ANYTIME ... Jarvis simply doesmn’t have there speed to do that therefore lowering the reward portion ...

Like I said bro .. i think were on the same exact page here .. if not, were at least 95% in agreement ... thumbsup

I know one thing we do agree on 100% ...

I don't think that either guy returned kicks in college, but maybe they look in that direction.

I am actually kind of surprised that we brought in Streater, who has done next to nothing for several years now, and who doesn't play special teams. Maybe he's here to be a mentor for the young guys. Who knows? It seems like bringing in a guy who can return kicks, instead, might have been a good idea.

Agreed

Thanks waiting for my insides to settle down and finish this thing.

A new aura as we finally got our Franchise QB prospect. Couch didn't have a chance as we did not build an OL for him and he had multiple OC's and systems so who knew about him. He became damaged goods.

Baker is better than I thought and I thought a lot of good things about him. He will have some hiccups I'm sure, he is a rookie in a damanding position. Can't wait to see him in action and working with the ONES for the first time. The Defense hopefully will take over games for us! Can't believe how our team got better in one YEAR. John Dorsey, right guy in the right place at the right time.

I'm late to the game on this, but I wanted to say I agree with this post more than any of your previous post game posts. You normally do a great job, but this one is about perfect - maybe it is because I actually attended the game for a change (hard to do so 2500 miles away) instead of streaming it.

A few comments -
+ from my seats, the wind seemed much worse in the first half than in the second half. I'm not making excuses for TT, or poo pooing Baker's game, just stating something I noticed.
+ special teams penalties are annoying as heck - Hue needs to get on Amos to get them to stop holding and blocking in the back - or fire him
+ It seemed like Haley ran much more conservative plays with TT in there than he did with Baker in there. Maybe it is just my imagination, but the offensive play calling seemed more open in the 2nd half.
+ The OL was terrible in the first quarter. Whatever adjustments were made, kudos to the coaching staff. Of course, with Baker in there getting the ball out so quickly, that helped a ton as well.
+ I like our stable of running backs - a lot
+ the crowd chanting for Baker early in the first quarter was annoying. this being said, great crowd overall, and I was surprised to not see everyone in my section hammered

I love the at the game additions as there is a perspective that is only gained by being there.

Yeah I'm surprised nobody commented about the wind including the at game experts.

Yeah I don't like the chanting as its good for some but TT is a human being fighting with all he had. Cheer for the kid when he comes in, which they did. But TT gave us his all.

Jacksondawg, no need to eat Crow. It ok, the most important thing is that we got our Franchise QB finally. I liked Darnold also and was very clear that either one would have made me happy. Cause I knew the NFL normally is biased against a 6'1" QB so I didn't think we would take him overall #1. Thank goodness for Dorsey as he has Brass ones. wink

I think both will be successful in their careers...but clearly one is better than the other and we got him laugh

A QB isn't a franchise QB until he shows he is. It usually takes more than 31 minutes in the NFL before we know for sure.

No, not sure where they were giving them away - but I'd likely have turned it down so someone that likes Bud Light could have had it - I'm not much of a fan of it.

I almost ALWAYS state it as Franchise QB prospect...you caught me one of the few times I got lazy.
Although I am almost certain that we finally do have our Franchise QB that would be simply my Opinion.

But thanks for making sure every word I type is 100% accurate wink

I don't think they had any of those coolers in the stadium. I saw some around town, but not in the stadium.

The NFL has that no alcohol sold after the 3rd qtr. rule.

Yeah I think that they were placed all around Bars in the City. They were rigged to have the locks through WIFI drop at the same time after the win.

Probably we will see Video of some of these lockers later in the year in some Ad Campaign. I think it was mentioned that there were YouTube video of the action but not yet in a Ad campaign form.

Can't wait to see the Dilly Dilly...mentioned by Baker in his post game interview. This was a very good marketing idea. Of course it was mentioned that there were fans asleep on the
curb as they passed out...lol laugh
