man, Goff looks LEGIT ... and their O-coordinator/HC is very good
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Looking forward to tonight's game. I'm sitting Goff in fantasy, which is a risk ... but I think Minnesota's D will try hard and THursday nights often are low scoring Ouch!

I never played QB ... but man, it is tight in the NFL ....
It is to hard to see plays from the pocket ..... ... but this QB view camera really shows it, just how hard it is to see an open receiver, (even the ones we see in the overhead view) and how quickly you have to make that decision/throw.

Remember when Hue Jackson wanted Jared Goff instead of Carson Wentz? He's a genius!

The Rams look about as good as you can look through 4 games. At this rate, I haven't seen many teams close to their level.

Yeah the content of my posts and others I see wasn't showing up???
But I missed the boat on that one. MY WIFE...lol
Explained to me that only in the AMAZON presentation of the game on Stream stuff ??? was in this fashion. So apologies as I missed the boat there.
As for the game, Man Goff was amazingly GOOD! All I know is that I liked Wentz but Hue Jackson wanted Goff and he does know what he's talking about regarding QBs and was right about him. Just remember he struggled his rookie year. Now he looks amazing of course the Vikings didn't exactly give him a pass rush to work against. But he was so freaking ON THE MONEY with his throws. And a bigger surprise is the production of Kupp UDFA? what a steal I know there was at least one dawg here pimping Kupp pre-draft. Whoever that was props to them. Guy just was open all the time, has amazing hands.
Cousins btw impressed me also. It was a good game. Shame a fumble at the end had to decide it...I wanted to see that last drive!

Vikings got screwed on a TD in the first half. Play was called dead when the player was untouched. Vikings got screwed on a non call pass interference in the 4th quarter. That would have been a first down. Refs were wearing blue and gold last night. These two plays could have added 10 points for the Vikings.

Did Anthony Barr get burned on every Rams TD? As good as Goff looks, I give a ton of the credit to the scheme. It puts opponents in bad match ups and/or causes confusion and gets guys uncovered.

it's interesting that the Rams always go 3 WR .. it's their base set. Add Gurley to that mix and there is always one mismatch if the other team stays base

The play where Woods caught the TD the Rams started off in an I-Formation with two tight ends. They then shifted to four wide which left Anthony Barr on Woods. Goff knew he had a TD before the ball was even snapped.

I can see missing the play but to call it and then PICK THE FLAG UP is borderline FIX. I was saying, OK if I was the HC of the Vikings, what is the procedure to PROTEST a Game cause I would of. Just to get the play reviewed and the CREW to be questioned and PENALIZED. That just didn't make any sense and a black mark against all REFS!

I think refs need to go learn how to ref. Outside the ridiculous roughing the passer flags, there's a lot of calls not being made out there. Crucial calls that are as described best above as "blatant"...
Teams should face other teams, teams shouldn't face the officiating crew and the other team. NFL needs to do... something.

jmho There's many reasons why I'm not an NFL coach, one of them is that I'd pull my team off the field if that happened to me. That was a textbook block in the back penalty AND they threw the flag. Then, without any explanation, they pick it up and say, "play on". I could only imagine the average Vikings fan this morning. That drive should have ended. It's bad enough the Rams are almost unstoppable on offense, but when the refs are reversing penalties without video review to help them....ugh, I'd have freaked out.

Josh Gordon - WR - Patriots ESPN's Jeff Darlington reports Josh Gordon (questionable, hamstring) is fully up to speed with the Patriots' playbook. ... you’llhave to excuse me if I don’t believe it til i’ve seen it ... multiple times ... i’m guessin We have different definitions of the term “fully up to speed” ... *L* ... Gordon's hamstring is the bigger threat to his Week 4 status. Barring a setback, he should see at least limited snaps after making progress late in the week. The Patriots are desperate for a spark, so Gordon could have a larger than expected role if active. Source: Jeff Darlington on Twitter Sep 30 - 9:27 AM

He'll either have 250 yards and 2 TDs or no catches lol
