IF this is all about politics to try to undermine a SCOTUS nominee by Trump, why didn't this happen with Gorsuch? Hmmmmm?

Let's look at the reality here. Kavenaugh sat there and claimed some wild conspiracy theory about how he blamed the Clintons and the Democrats for conspiring to torpedo his nomination to the Supreme Court. Yet a year and a half ago no such thing happened when Gorsuch went through the exact same process. Hmmmmm..

Me thinks far too many people are drinking the kool aid.

I have no clue. Not even sure if there will be an investigation yet. If the Republicans who want this investigation go behind closed doors and tell McConnel they won't vote for him without an investigation, McConnel will have no choice. If not, McConnel may test them by not having one.

But so far there's four Republicans calling for an investigation. Without their votes, Kavenaugh can't be confirmed.

Unless I'm mistaken, only Trump can call for this investigation. So we'll see how this goes.

Do we not realize the democrats use of the supreme court as an end all to surpass the rest of government and the will of the people

ie, the supreme court declares same sex marriage legal in the entire USA in spite of all the votes of people's in various states, and the various decisions of courts for the 15 or so years prior,

that because of this, that the patern exists that whatever nominee the President, or any conservative president would put up, would face what amounts to a Salem Witch trial

such that, those saying the decision should just be made to switch to another nominee aren't making a convincing argument.

I mean, Hijacking the nomination process away from the elected president, because the president isn't someone the democrats like isn't how the government and the constitution is set up to work.

The president makes the nominations, because he was elected.

Munchin, Collins, Murkowski, and Flake will only vote yes if the FBI looks into the allegations.

There is no 'over', technically. It all depends on how much money the dem's can throw at the accusers.

All four senators have made statements within the last hour or so. They all say they won’t vote yes until the FBI investigates.

The best part about this? Trump must order the FBI investigation; congress can’t order it.

I guess now looking for the truth is a bad thing.

I've always agreed with an investigation because the SCOTUS is a lifetime appointment. I've NEVER given any indication as to whether I had a clue of guilt or innocence.
