Don't return any kickoffs, we either start at the 15 or there's a flag on us, let every kick be a touchback

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I want to see us put forth the same effort we did in Oakland, minus the mistakes where we beat ourselves.

I want to see the refs give us a break...almost a week later the say it was a fumble ? The NFL acknowledged Friday that an errant whistle cost the Cleveland Browns a fumble recovery in their 45-42 overtime loss to the Oakland Raiders last Sunday. The play, one of several controversial calls in the game, occurred with 6 minutes, 39 seconds remaining in regulation. Raiders quarterback Derek Carr lost control of the ball after Browns pass rushers Myles Garrett and Genard Avery hit him at the Oakland 38-yard line. Garrett recovered and began a return toward the end zone. Browns go for 42, but find another historic way to lose The Browns, who are one of just four teams out of 323 since 2000 to lose when scoring 42 points, need to find way to win games they should win. But referee Walt Anderson stepped in, ruling that a whistle had blown before the fumble because Carr's forward progress stopped. Anderson ruled the play a sack, and the Raiders punted on fourth down. In a weekly video review released on Twitter, NFL senior vice president of officiating Al Riveron said: "We ruled the passer stopped for forward progress and we kill the play. This is not forward progress. Obviously, this is a fumble. We should not have blown the whistle." By NFL rule, Anderson's call was not reviewable by instant replay. The Browns were also on the short end of another controversial ruling late in the game: Riveron's decision to reverse a key first-down measurement with 1:38 left in regulation. Riveron did not mention it on Friday's video, but the league had earlier supported the ruling by saying Riveron determined Browns running back Carlos Hyde should have been marked one yard short of the first down. According to the league, Riveron pieced together the ruling by looking at evidence from two different views of the play. fumble bs

Not sure how I feel, or I am sure how I feel, but it conflicts. What they said matches what the homer fans saw at the bar. It was right. I feel bad about how vulnerable a good effort can be to a zebra busy in the fourth quarter.

Or if they're even looking. Then comes the punt after the 1st Down, game over reversal. Blatant 2 hands to the back numbers right at the point of return. Again. WTH are these chumps looking at. I'M STILL PISSED.

I want to see the refs give us a break... I want (like most of us), to see us play well enough that we don't need that break. Of course a call in our favor won't hurt either...

Obviously a WIN is number one on the list of wanting to see.
But also an answer as we are facing I believe the #1 overall defense in the NFL. I think these guys are slow and will be exposed game day as we will give them a balanced attack.
We cannot continue to drop perfectly placed balls thrown to our WRs. They just have to get use to staying INTENSE each play each second within the play and expect a pass out of No where.
If we can drop 30+ points on this team and keep their Dink and Dunk passing game at bay with a expectation of the Vertical throw every now and then.
My only fear is that our lack of depth will hurt. I don't dawgs know how well Mitchell was playing for us. We don't have an answer to that loss, You never know who will step up and be that answer. I think that actually will be the key to the game. Another will be the drops, if we catch them all and no reason to expect not to. We will have a heck of a game.
Time to put notice on the NFL. Enough of this we should be 4-0 carapola...Time to shut up and just WIN!
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

I haven't read the thread so it might have been brought up. I just mentioned in another thread, the key to a Browns win, to me, defeating the Ravens pass protection. Making Flacco uncomfortable in the pocket. We do that for the entire game and the team can come out with a win.

I want to see Mayfield play a legit top 10 D and still make plays. I’d like to see fewer turnovers but hell, our offense has been flat lining since 2007. I want to see us beating a divisional rival. I want us to start something. Regardless of what happens I’ll be here next week and each week thereafter. Success would be a welcome consequence.

I want to see Hurst and Andrews on the field together.
One of them is gonna have a favorable match-up vs a LB/S and if they decide to match-up both their S on Hurst and Andrews I wants to see Calloway and Landry going downfield when they get single coverage.

I was really peeved about how wide open the Raiders recievers where at times, especially backs coming out unaccounted for and gashing us. Fix the pass defense, we gave up 437 yards passing...freaking ridiculus.

The Browns have to force Flacco to go to his 2nd and 3rd reads. dont let him get comfortable. force him to get out of pocket. he will force the throws if his intial read isnt there. John Brown is alot to handle. cant allow him to eat up cushion. I think the Browns have to really run the ball from the get go. they have a very porous WR unit. its bottom 5. i would not want Mayfield throwing it 30 times with their penchant for drops

I would like to see hard evidence that some serious coaching attention has been paid to the Special Teams Unit this past week. Hue Jackson has coached ST before and said he would be helping out. Amos Jones had better be helping himself here too.
To me, good coaching and teaching this week would be proven by proper coverage on punts and kicks. Players stay in their assigned lanes and converge on the ball AS A TEAM, which is how you put the squeeze on a speedy, dodgy return man.
I am not asking for a whole lot here, but to me it is the bare, basic minimum that is absolutely essential. Return to fundamentals on Special Teams and just execute the simple basics. Get the coverages on punts and kicks right! They can build from there later on in subsequent games.
Special Teams are a runaway wild fire right now and the fire has to be put out!

We have got to cover their TEs. this is not an ideal statement for our defense to hear
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I want (like most of us), to see us play well enough that we don't need that break. I thought the Browns played well more than enough...But yet the donkeys didn't let it turn out that way.. It erks me when people say .."the Browns have to play that that the refs don't need to give us that break " Really ? This team has the record it does because of incredibly piss poor referees....

I want to see Myles impose his will on the Rats OL and get to Flicko.
I want to see the WR's catch Baker's accurate and strong passes.
I want to see Chubb get more carries.
I want to see a long time in coming win over these Rats.

I think Garrett needs a bit more of a rest during the game ... whehter that's on early downs or whatever so he's fresher at the end

I want to see fewer mistakes and better execution. That's it. This means
+ fewer special teams penalties + fewer drops + fewer missed assignments
As far as what I don't want to see:
+ Peppers in the return game.
20 minutes in - still have missed assignments, still special teams penalties, still peppers in the return game. Add in the inability to tackle to this game...lovely
