Supposition here only but, suppose we end up with CF and DA showing that both have what it takes to be starting QBs. And, the Browns QB of future looks like it's going to BQ. I can't see CF playing back-up role, maybe Anderson. Everyone is stating that team should also keep KD as future tutor and maybe QB coach.
What are the Browns going to do? If CF performs as he was a starter of the future, do we deal him to say Kansas City for a first rounder or do we wait and see what Anderson does and hope he warrants a high draft pick.
It's obvious that Charlie is and should be our starter for now, but down the road Savage is going to have to make a hard decision on who is going to be the team's back-up QB of the future. Re Kansas City, they might also be willing to wait and see if the Jags are going to release Byron Leftwich but, it certainly looks like they are in a dire need of a starting QB. Atlanta, might also be in need if Joey Harrington flops.
Just trying to project of what could transpire for the team during the upcoming season. We need to get some draft picks to shore up our DL, RB and maybe WR areas.

If we could get a first rounder for Frye I would do it in a heartbeat, but that would never happen. Maybe, MAYBE a 3rd rounder I would say...someone posted this a while ago, but it was an article that had another team's GM say Frye isn't even close to an NFL QB.
I think that we will try to deal Anderson for a late round pick this year, and if we don't get anything, he's simply cut. We will start Frye, keep Dorsey to mentor Quinn. JMO.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

I think Frye is showing that with a quality O-line he can be a very good starter. IMO Frye will never be happy as a backup. Maybe we should trade Brady for a 3rd rounder. Except Jim Donavan and Diam would kill themselves.
