All I know is everytime I heard about him I heard: he's injured or he stinks.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I know, and I'd probably be pissed at this pickup if it were anyone other than Dorsey doing the picking for us. If Belichick had made this move, we'd all be like, "Watch him turn him into gold." So I'll just wait and see.

If Belichick was going to make this move, he’d have made it before the Gordon move.

so Belichick thinks Gordon and Coleman are better than Perriman

Just what we need. A stone-handed receiver. Why aren't we trying to make a real deal? Trade deadline is coming fast. Make a trade and get a real WR. Or sign Dez for the rest of the year. I like the idea of trading for OBJ. He'd be with his good friend and college teammate Landry as well as his old position coach. If not, then find a good solid wr a trade a 2nd or 3rd and lets get going.

I really like Dorsey and so far he's done a great job but he's not infallible. There is a reason this guy wasn't picked up after he got cut. A former first-round pick and he's on the street? Dorsey isn't going to make the kids hands better. I'd rather have Dez. More drama but we know he can catch. Kind of an important skill to have at the WR position ne?

As others have pointed out, it's a low risk acquisition, and we don't know if Dorsey is in trade talks or not. One doesn't necessarily preclude the other. I know the move seems sketchy, and we'll probably pull some hair out when he drops a couple, but I'm willing to see it play out. He does have physical gifts and real speed, but yeah, good hands are important.

Yes, receivers who can't catch the ball consistently are a problem we don't need anymore of.

Oh boy, fingers crossed.

Candidate for the Braylon Award.

200 JUGS after practice daily. This is what we needed?

Njoku another candidate

I've never liked Perriman because I think he has really bad hands.

I don't get the furor over this move, though. Dorsey has done a great job. This move isn't a make or break move by any stretch of the imagination.

Perriman only lasted 4 days with the Redskins...I'm hoping he only sees the field on special teams....he can't be any worse than what we have out there already...or can he...Was only hoping for a better patch until the issues can hopefully be resolved this upcoming off-season.

I didn't know he had a stint (kind of ) with WASH ... that's not a good sign

Leslie was with the Browns this year, and frankly has more potential than Perriman.

The Corey Coleman comparison is accurate.

We'll see how Ratley does tomorrow too; he's got a shot.

This could end up as a big case of nothing.

Just a extended look.

At this point I would not put much stock in it.

Dorsey will continue to look for better alternatives.

Pretty sure you're thinking of last year. He was with the Broncos in TC this year. He was on the 53 with us last year, then got hurt, put on IR and cut with an injury settlement. The Bronco signed him. He was their leading receiver in camp this year, but still got cut, I think he jammed a finger near the end of camp. The kid is talented, but has had a rough run. I wish he'd get a call from Dorsey.

J/C the loss of Higgins hurts more than most of us probably envisaged at the start of the year. Guy was becoming mr dependable - hope he heals up and back after the bye. Willies looked like he had potential too - shame for him. Landry, Calloway and lots of 2 TE sets. I’d like to see DeValve out more as a receiver too if he plays. We have plenty of options IMHO and this may actually help a tad as I suspect it merges our personnel on run and pass sets more simply due to who can suit up.

Bummer about Willies. I was wanting to see more of him.

As mentioned, we will probably see more of DeValve and Duke in the passing game.

Devalve might be someone who pays dividends now

I don’t like this signing ... not one little bit ...

Dorsey’s done a GREAT job ... but this ones DUMB ... theres no two ways about it ...

And it scares me ...

WHY bring in someone else that CAN’T CATCH ... we have two recievers that fill that role quite well .... Callaway and Njoku ...

We don’t need another GREAT ATHELETE with STONE HANDS ...

Dorsey made a mistake ... guess he’s human after all ... wink ...

WASTE OF TIME SIGNING ... bad move King John .. bad move ... thumbsdown

Really thought that DeValve would see more of the field so far. And Duke ought to get some more time and touches as well. This signing just puzzles me.

He is a burner w/ good agility, strength and very quick start/stop...
It appears he kind of skated on this through college.
He does stretch the field and had good YAC.
When he caught the ball....;-)
Needs to learn cleaner route running and catching technique.
Landry might be able to light a fire under him.
Worth a try on ST for Punt/KO returns?
At worst he's another probable who can be dumped quickly.

Devalve has been bothered by a Quad injury and then a hammy injury banghead

Point blank...High Reward and Low Risk. Hopefully the kid can be coached up. I don't expect much from him outside of a Jet Sweep, no drops there but utilize his speed. Will be couple games before he knows our play book and system enough to get out there with some reps. I doubt if he is active this week.

How is he as a returner? Maybe he was brought in to help special teams?

From everything I've heard he was catching the ball well in preseason this year. So I'm not sure why it hurts to take a flyer on the guy. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
