I hate to be that guy, I get no pleasure out of it...but
I TOLD YOU SO about Baker Mayfield.
It took a few weeks, but you seen signs of it late last week...Defensive Coordinators are adjusting to Mayfield and game planning for him.
Its hard to adjust when your rookie doens't know the entire playbook.
there is no wya in hell Mayfield knows the entire playbook by heart, and its obvious Haley is simplfying parts of the playbook for Mayfield.
Again we should have stuck with the plan and played Taylor. Taylor had more time to learn the playbook then Mayfield, he has more expereince, and the plan was for Taylor to play this year and let Mayfield develop.
As typical Browns though especially the fans...ya just don't flipping listen do ya?
It will only get worse for Mayfield down the stretch, and its not his fault....he needed the time to sit more then any of you realize....he would be 200% better next year if he had time to sit.

you increase your chances of a non-bust Qb exponentially when they are allowed to sit. sitting as rookie Qb will NEVER hurt him, playing him beofore he is ready cna cause irreparable harm.

of course Mayfield will say and think he is ready, but he isn't ready....sadly Jackson doesn't have the guts to go back to his vet and do whats best for Mayfield and the Browns as an organization, so we will potentially ruin Mayfield this year...what a waste....Taylor performance against New Orleans is more his norm then his concussed Jets game...but no one has any patience../.
