The problem is awareness, don't take a dumb penalty , secure the ball, make the catch , make the tackle . These are things this team has not done for decades

Defense looks like they are trying to step up...two turnover the offense could do NOTHING with.

Actually they didn't blast, so much as sound mournful that there's almost no hope. And they are not wrong. This is the worst defense in the league without its best player (McCoy) and another pretty good player (Curry). The offense is failing.
