What’s horrible is they watch the game tape, have all week, have had several weeks to correct the mistakes and it’s the same ones and the same players making them. That’s the very definition on not being An effective coach

We have a fairly tough schedule the rest of the way. There aren't any that I see that would be easier than this one. I am not saying we will lose out, and I don't think we will. But we could.

seriously, is it too much to ask for the damn offense to SHOW THE HELL UP IN THE 1ST HALF?
once again, our defense gets multiple turnovers in the game. and our offense does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with it.
im sick of this crap. Doesn't Coaching have all week to get the team , especially offense ready to play at the start of the game. It's literally scripted. That means, the beginning of the game should set up the rest of the game. This team has been PUTRID at it. They dont establish an identity early and wait until the 2ne half to get started. Its beyond bad coaching.
you had a good run Hank.

The first couple drives should be when the offense is most comfortable, successful because the plays are scripted. I thought Haley was a very good hire, he has been average.

Haley hasn’t show that he likes to adapt his offense. I think it was a big part of the fallout between he and Ben . I get wanting your offense, but it should be your teams offense based on what they do well and your job is to call plays that put them in best position to execute. I don’t feel haley has done that

Postgame thoughts:
- The Browns offense struggles early. Still only 6 points scored in the 1st qtr all year.
- Mayfield and Landry building chemistry. Much better than last week.
- This team is very undisciplined. 14 penalties is inexcusable.
- Ogbah had a great game.
- Ward had a nice game.
- Defense forced 4 more turnovers. Offense needs to capitalize of them more.
- Carlos Hyde was not missed.
- Desmond Harrison had a tough game against JPP
- Another close loss. At some point the Browns have got to start winning.

I don't know how much longer I can take these close games. I might need to start smoking. I already do, but it doesn't help very much...

- Ward had a nice game. Yes. That was probably the best game of Ogbah's career. Ward is awesome. It's crazy to not have to worry about him stinking ever.

The no call on Baker's slide, and the also non call on the blow to the QB's head is yet another official screw you to Cleveland.
It is unbelievable that one team could have so many absolutely blown calls go against them in one 3rd of a season. In my opinion its because we sent in all the blown calls from the raiders game to the nfl. Not sure if referee crews are fined for these blown calls or not. But it sure does seem like they have it out for us and will do this all season

Damarious Randall was/is a great pickup. Him being to play corner today was huge.

The one positive take away that I had from the offense was that I felt like Baker was starting to look a little more comfortable running play action.

Ogbah was a terror. Might have been his best game as a pro.
Jeesus, the penalty parade has to stop. We gave them several first downs because of penalties.
Baker was resilient yet again. Nothing was working in the first half but he found a way to get us into overtime.
Our punter has to be one of the best in football. Booms them with accuracy, good at dropping them inside the 10, definitely a bright spot.
Chubb had a really good game, but I still don't like trading Hyde.
Winston is good QB when he gets into a rhythm, he also turns it over and takes bad sacks at inopportune times and with much stupidity.
I don't know what adjustments GW made at halftime, but the Bucs had trouble moving the ball in the second half.
Their kicker made a 58-yarder to win it, gotta tip your cap to him.
I see the Hue bashing is here.... we have a banged up secondary and a thin WR group, and we still had a chance to win. these guys fight for their coach.

It is unbelievable that one team could have so many absolutely blown calls go against them in one 3rd of a season. 1. Whining about the refs accomplishes nothing. 2. Both were the correct call. Sorry, but you're wrong. You cannot hit the QB in his slide, especially in the head. I was wrong:

They tied Baker's hands in the first quarter, and it bit them.
Tampa's first drive was mostly penalty yards.
8 first downs off of penalties.
Big runs called back because of...penalties.
Garrett jumps offsides every game in crucial moments.
Tackling is horrible.
Should have kicked a FG before the half. Points matter
Everytime the offense brings the team back into the game, the defense gives up a long scoring drive.
I like Hue, but if he goes for it on 4th down in FG range again, I'm done with him. Those three points could have been the difference.
Randall is a good player. Ward is a stud.
Chubb, IMO, is a better back than Hyde.
Need to sign a Good WR immediately, screw the cost.
I see a long losing streak coming.
RIP, Jim

Anyone else feel like, with 2:28 to play, when the Browns tied the game,
that the Bucs had let the Browns score quickly so they'd have plenty of time to go down for that fg they missed.

General observation: The Isle is much further away than it looks from the mainland... That Isle wasn't about making the playoffs this season. It's about all the young talent we have, good building blocks for the future, and what looks like a franchise QB in the fold. Don't be discouraged, bb. Hell, I'm still optimistic about the near future with this team. As long as Haslam doesn't locate his idiot hat, he'll keep the coaching staff in place and we'll push for a division title in 2019.

Also, we once again almost gave up 500 yards. Our defense, while the turnovers are nice, is getting killed

Anyone else notice that the NFL no longer even bothers to apologize for their crap officiating?

Quick reaction: I'm glad we didn't kick the FG on 4th and 2 before halftime and went for it and came away with zero points.
No doubt. That bonehead decision cost us the game. Decisions like that is why I don't like Hue Jackson. Take the points when you can get them and see how it turns out in the end. If it was a late game deal, sure, go for it by all means. Oh well, another week of hearing how I am a hater and Hue is a good coach.

A mix of penalties, poor execution, bad luck, bad decisions... i'm so numb to this team
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

The roughing the passer call was the bad one. He was in the air with his hands raised, and the QB was hit from behind and pushed into him. Garbage call. I don't think his hands ever did hit Winstons helmet
