But it's much easier to get through it during an offseason. The Rams fired Jeff Fisher mid-season. Just get the poison out of the system before it spreads any further. It doesn't help that our rookies weren't supposed to get forced into action during the offseason, so we spent most of that time getting Tyrod and Josh Gordon and Hyde and Higgins ready. It's almost like they should have been getting first team reps all along. . . Fisher wasn't fired until December 12. Unfortunately, we can't go back in time. I'm not sure Bill B could fix this mid season.

We've stayed the course this long. Seeing it to the end of the season seems the best of a bunch of unpleasant options. Get more reps, see what happens. The head coach is encouraging bad habits. It's a gots to go situation. I don't see Haley or Williams magically fixing things. They're just as culpable for the "bad habits" of their respective units. The options I like are busy coaching other teams. That won't change til the season is over. Those options are likely to have a rough transition period, too, whenever that time comes. I’m beyond frustrated with the infighting, leaks to media, and lack of professionalism that continues to be exhibited, but truth is you are right here. Firing Hue now does nothing but create more problems and potentially does more harm than good. I still say give him to seasons end, but with two qualifiers...... 1. Quit the the internal fights with various FO and staff members. If this breaks down to constant infighting he has to go. 2. If it is deemed he is hurting Baker’s development.....and I have seen no signs of that so far. At season’s end a decision can be made about his body of work, but right now isn’t the right time to do that imo.

Thinking of taking the family out of town next weekend, and I have a no travel policy during the season.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

This team, and more importantly our rookie QB is regressing. Week after week. Its time.
MKC saying Haley is going to get fired. If they fire haley and keep this bum Hue, i am done with this team.

1. Quit the the internal fights with various FO and staff members. If this breaks down to constant infighting he has to go. What in Hue's history would lead anyone to believe he can do this? 2. If it is deemed he is hurting Baker’s development.....and I have seen no signs of that so far. Publicly questioning the offensive coordinator? At season’s end a decision can be made about his body of work, but right now isn’t the right time to do that imo. How many games does he have to lose? This is what he is. He's not changing.

My biggest concern is Baker. He's being ruined.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Somebody who hasn't been fired. I am thinking Dee Haslam or somebody she wants. Lue is available as I understand it.

Yep the Haley stuff is why I said earlier when he does get fired (and it’s coming unless a complete turnaround takes place) I won’t feel bad for him. I can’t argue your point.....lack of professionalism has been exhibited since he has been here. However if he can stop (and he did try to avoid that nonsense in the presser at least) then fine.....if not and this dissolves he has to go like I said.
I don’t know if Hue s a good HC or not ( to be frank I have serious doubts) but we made a decision to keep him last year, and firing him mid season will not change one thing this year.....except potentially make things worse.
The only concern I have is providing the best environment for guys to improve ( esyyoung players), and I’m not convinced firing their leader 8 games in is the best way to accomplish that.

There is definitely nothing to gain from firing him now....and we all came into this season with expectations of improvement, but also understanding our weaknesses, most notably, a lack of quality depth....
So now we are mired in adversity....you had to know this was coming. Instead of looking for the easy answer...i.e. blame and fire....maybe we should strengthen our resolve. understand the bumps along the way, and keep building towards a consistent goal....
The media loves the drama that comes with the high pressure arena of NFL coaching. But following the mob mentality with fire and pitchforks doesn't bring us any closer to a winning formula. Change for the sake of change is no good. Change bc of adversity, also no good.
Let the season play out, let the football men make a proper decision....don't get caught in the hype....though, here in Cleveland, that's all we do....We bring 'em in just to inevitably chase them out....and we wonder why the organization is a joke...

So, changing out a coach who is achieving legendary status in the history of the entire NFL’s existence is “change for the sake of change”?

Seriously, if Hue Jackson shouldn't be fired, then no firing of a coach in the history of the league should be fired. He's worse than literally every other coach ever (by record).

you are your record..after 3 years you should be able to accidentally win more than 3 games..I will breathe a sigh of relief after getting rid of Hue, then we can properly begin the rebuild. If Haley is fired before Hue then I just don't know any more

We've continually found reasoning to can our coaches...over and over and over.....it hasn't yielded positive results yet....
Is Hue historically bad...yes.....is the organization historically inept....yep....
Is the reset button the right thing to do.....nope...hasn't been...still isn't....
is there turmoil among the coaches...sure...but that's what happens when you are losing...
You keep working to find your way out, you don't give up and start over....and firing Hue....
No matter what anyone says, it will be a reset...it always is...they always stress that its not...but it always is...

I am ok with a new coach IF they can get a quality coach.
What is the Vegas over / under on the Browns hiring a new QUALITY coach.
Somebody who knows what they are doing?
I don't have much faith in that.

Now, we are on a stretch where we win between 0-2 games per year. The staggering ineptitude is just almost beyond comprehension.

Why is Tyler Durden the only one defending Hue so far? Is the Hue lover gang having a clandestine pow-wow on how to address this debacle?
