Williams be a position coach somewhere next year.
hes a very average DC.

He deserves it. Good call.

I'm more interested now in the Garrett comments, and what Williams will have to say about it. I know our beloved Cleveland media will bring it up first chance they get.

Gregg Williams deserves it. His side of the ball has held up to its end of the bargain, and Williams wasn't part of the infighting. Let's see what he can do the rest of the season.

Well, if Jimmy Haslam says it, it has to be gospel. No way would he ever lie.

I hope he does well enough to be considered the next head coach. I like the guy.

If not, I would also like the next guy hired to consider keeping him on.

People were freaking out because Hue was HC and had play calling duties.

But, now we're going w/a guy who has the people skills of Attila the Hun and he is going to be both HC and DC.

Pair him w/an OC who has never called plays in a real game and this picture keeps getting brighter and brighter.

next post I see it will be AMOS JONES new HC

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

We need Attila the Hun in Berea. Better than Barney the Purple Dinosaur running things. At least Attila’s way conquered much of Asia.

As I said in another thread, I hope he does well. Promote one of his assistants to the DC role, Kitchens does well, all will be good in Browns-land.

Sour grapes my friend. I am sure Williams will lean on his son when he has to do so.

We had to name somebody head coach, and we had to promote someone who knows the current offense....you get that don't you. We can't just bring in someone off the streets to learn the O or D by this Sunday. Geesh

Do you know how many coaches Hue fired in his effort to maintain his position....it's sickening.....how about those coaches and a front office guy?

Hue was and is self serving. The team just got better today.

Wonder if Kitchens will keep the Haley playbook? I hope he does, just to limit any issues with Mayfield getting more comfortable and progressing.

Doesn’t seem like it would be imperative to bring in something completely new at this stage.

Didn't Bill Parcels once say "if you want me to cook the meal, give me a Kitchens" or something like that. They are trying to pull Parcells out of retirement!
