I REALLY REALLY want them to keep Greg Williams.

He is a legit quality coach.

They arent going to get a better DC anywhere.

Were much farther then 2 drafts away.

We have no depth at all and we waste the picks we have.

Every single pick we make should be penciled in somewhere on the roster to start and perform a role day one...Bellichik does exactly this and has for years, yet we draft trash cans like Antonio Callaway....

the Browns need to stop drafting these trash cans with potential yet off field issues or what not, and start drafting JAGS that will fill out our depth and be damn roleplayers and do their job.

They also need to spend a lot of Fa money on 2nd and 3rd tier guys that can shore up special teams and give us more depth on our roster, then we may be able to to compete with the rest of the NFL.

Hopefully Dorsey is smart enough to see this and also hires us a solid coach like Dave Toub.

We desperately need playmakers on the outside

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I was a GW proponent and was happy when we got him, but giving up 27.4 ppg is a real problem. Couple that with lack of tackling, getting burned by the same plays over and over, lack of pass rush and inability to stop the run, I have to wonder if he's the guy or not. I know we still lack talent, but these are serious issues. But it's likely moot anyway. 99% chance he's gone EOS.

Just got back from the game. Baker looked pretty good except for that pick. Can't believe how many Chiefs fans were in our section.

Baker was a tad inaccurate today, but not even close to our problem

GW loves Collins. Good thing too, cause they'll be able to walk out together.

Id bench Collins for lack of effort. Shoulda traded his rear for a kicker or waterboy.

We don't have the personnel, at least not out there this afternoon.

We battled. No lead is safe with out secondary getting gouged, missing tackles, and just getting beaten. Mahomes kept it on the ground and called off the offense a bit second half.
Potting BM like a shooting gallery out there. Robinson did better then I thought he might.

Roll BM instead of the dumb play fake. Chubb looked tough for this line. Could be more decisive. Against this club with all our hurt folks, we did OK. We can do better. This coaching shuffle is not an acceptable excuse, but it is a necessary explanation. I thought we had OK game management.

- OL needs to improve
- Lack speed and depth at WR
- Need a book end for Garrett
- DBs are just hurt

As another poster said earlier, the Browns cannot afford to waste ANY picks given their depth. Every pick needs to fit in somewhere, even if it's specials teams (which we all know aren't so special).

Question: If Chubb cannot block on punt coverage, WHY is he back there? That's coaching.

Given the lack of overall depth and talent, the Browns played pretty good today. I didn't expect them to win; in fact I bet against them and cashed for a few dollars. It was a good day.

Dorsey needs to really put in the work to build this roster in the next 2 drafts. I expect the Browns to be playoff contenders in 2020. No excuses.

Blocked punt.

The blocked punt was a killer. I was miffed about the no-call PI earlier. However, the D is ravaged with injuries and nobody in the league can keep these guys under 30.

Our D needs to rest up and stay positive. Too bad our bye week isn’t next week. It’s so much a need. The Falcons will blow us away.

I want to beat the Bengals. Let’s focus there.

I think with another good draft and FA period, I think the playoffs are closer then we think. Coaching change could set us back, or propel us forward.

The Falcons are not that good IMO. If we could get back our DBs and Schobert, I think we could beat them.

OK, here's what I saw, from a bar stool.

GM's head.He was next to me at the bar. rofl

I thought that Kitchens did a nice job with the play calls.

Baker was OK, but missed several throws that I think he could have made if he's given himself that extra half second to recollect himself.

Chubb did a nice job waiting for the holes to be there, and then accelerating.

Duke had a nice game.

We need help at WR, though Perriman seemed to be solid today.

We cannot handle having our depth in the secondary exposed like it was today. TJ Carrie is inconsistent and pretty terrible.

Jamie Collins sucks. Oh, but he had 7 tackles, and 6 were solo. Yeah? Tanner Vallejo had 6 tackles, and 5 were solo, and he didn't start! I thought that Vallejo showed up more and better than Collins did, at least on a few plays later in the game.

Collins played 2 hand tag on more than one play today. Just disgusting.

Christian Kirksey should probably be replaced as well. Maybe we might be able to get by with him as our 3rd best LN, but not as our 2nd.

We desperately need Schobert back.

I thought that Robinson held his own at LT in place of Harrison.

Where was the flag on a pretty clear blow to the head of the QB ...... yet again?

I look at

kC, who Dorsey helped build, and I am encouraged that we will get there too.

Playoffs are only close if Baker is the real deal and we hire the right coach.

Every other team gets draft picks. What separates teams is QB and HC.

2 more drafts won't make one iota difference. Baker and the next head coach will.

If the Browns mess up the next HC, and they likely will because Haslam is involved, nothing with this team will change.

The hit to Bakers head was a puzzler to me. He was in the grasp and the guy came in and hit him helmet to helmet. Should have got the call, considering the way the have been calling them.

Personally I wouldn't have called it, but they made the rule, so at least be consistent.

At least the game wasn't changed by the refs, although it was clear pass INT and the ball should have been at the one. A TD there makes it a different game early on.

Also we didn't commit as many penalties today, but that was probably because they never punted. I bet more than half our penalties come on kick returns.

They punted twice.

We punted once .... but that was only because they blocked attempted punt #2.

How does Amos Jones have a job? How?

Seriously, players on other teams get bigger, faster and stronger once they get to the NFL. Our guys seem to keep the same strength and get slower.

Given that Chubb is our bell cow back, should he be back there even if he could block? Combine that with he obvious lack of ability to block, there is no reason someone else shouldn't be in there

Next week vs the Atl falcons, they started the year slow, they are beatable.

2 things,

1, Next week is a winnable game.

2, If you win next week it keeps you in it for 14 days of the bye week, but
another loss next week and Mathmaticaly eliminated is almost inevitable possibility.

Win any 3!

3-5 through an 8 game stretch, how many times since 1999.
