Man I could use a tough break like that in my life.

I get what you’re saying though.

It certainly did. mad

I don't get a chance to watch hardly any NFL football anymore, as I work a lot now. I recorded the Steelers/Panthers game last night and watch most of it this morning, I looked forward to it. What a disappointment (unless you're a Steelers fan). I was expecting a competitive game and a competitive game it was not....What's up with that?!?

Notes:

The Panther's running back was really good.

It will be interesting to see what happens if and when Bell comes back since Connor is doing so well now.

I can see them splitting carries (or maybe have Bell in the slot more)

Jets vs Bills.

Matt Barkley comes off the street to go 9/15 for 146 yards and 1 TD, at the time of writing this, with the Bills up 24-0 in the first half.

Josh McCown is 4/10 for 38 yards and 1 INT.

Crowell is 4 rushes for -8 yards.

I love Josh McCown, but I'm thrilled to see Crowell having an awful game. He can wipe with that.

People hate on Jim Caldwell, but Matt Stafford looks like absolute ass under Matt Patricia

Anyone else see Cody Parkey whack the goal post on four different kicks?!! Amazing! Unfortunate but amazing.

Titans have to be the most confusing team in the league.

They have absolute duds, then go out and destroy the patriots.

Maybe because I'm a Mariota fan, but that elbow injury on his throwing arm really hindered him for several weeks...He is now in rythm...losing his best weapon (Delaine Walker) really hindered that O imho...But he seems to be finding Jonnu Smith now.

Bucs are the only team in the league who can put up over 500 yards of offense...and only score 3 points.

Watching Russell Wilson play truly emphasizes how important the qb position is. They are devoid of talent all over the roster, yet he still makes the team competitive.

How could they have never put an offense around him?

Saw that they became the first team to give up 500 yards in 3 straight games.

We still get them twice this year, I would love to beat them at least once.

Aside from their initial draft under Pete, they have drafted very poorly.

best TD celebration this year is Tyreke Hill jumping into the stands and operating the TV camera.

best celebration I've seen this year was all of our WR's jumping the wall into the 'Pound when the clock hit 00:00 yesterday.

That and the giant bear hug that Gregg Williams got from a TE after the game. Think about that -- Williams has been the Head Coach for two weeks and an OFFENSIVE player ran up and gave him a bear hug on the field after the game. That says a LOT about how these players feel about him and the existing coaching staff.

I hope we get to see a lot more of this sort of thing this season.

I didn't get to see that, but as long as it wasn't "scripted" or planned, I'd have appreciated it.

I'm not a fan, at all, of the NFL's blatant pandering and faux patriotism. It reeks of insincerity. I tire of that form of rote patriotism on social media, too... people doing it because people are doing it... It's more a Pavlovian gesture than actual appreciation.

100% on board ..

I thought so much of the NFL for how they treated the military and how nice they were with their “salute to the military” segment in every game ... thought it was AWESOME ... then i found out the NFL was charging them 5k for it ..

It was cool ... I think the players scripted it themselves ... they all ran over and stood in as straight a line as they could ...

It looked genuine to me ... but i’m very naive so who knows ... *L* ...

I like that.

It isn't so much that the NFL is charging, it is that the Dept of Defense approached the NFL (and I'm assuming MLB, too, with their 7th inning stretch "proud to be an American" nonsense) and pays for it all out of their marketing budget.

Nathan Peterman just got cut by the Bills.

Definitely a job I wouldn’t put on my resume if I was him.
