No, they are not.

Each label change affects subsequent entries wherein the label is not specifically modified by the individual poster.

Did you intend to make a post advertising a commercial product? Did you intend to discuss something that happened to Aunt Edith?

It is a thread about Perriman, each label should say Perriman.

You can call it wonderfully individualistic, or you can call it chaotic, disorganized, and misleading. No useful purpose is served. That is why it is generally not done on other boards.

So far so good,,

I understand he's only had 5 receptions. Not an astounding number..

How many targets?

I don't think it is much, if any, more than 5. Have not seen anything remotely approaching a drop.

He was considered a top talent when drafted. If he can be as good as Higgins, it's a good pickup.

And Why did my title revert to Drink Perrier after changing it once?

Quick Reply uses, apparently, whatever change made most recently. Specific reply maintains last change made by posting user.

Or is it user replied to?

Title appears to be whatever title was used by whoever you are replying to, or last used title change on quick reply.

I like accurate information, and dislike random changes.

Call it a quirk.

For instance, after a fair number of iterations, while I do not think it is entirely random, neither does it seem to follow the system I initially suspected.

Interesting, and likely tiresome to determine an actual, correct answer, although - it is NOT the last change Anybody made, it is NOT the last change You made, it DOES vary with Quick Reply or Specific User replied to, but appears to have at least two variables interacting, possibly more.

It may be something like the last change made, at the time of posting, of the post you replied to, not at the time you post the reply.

PEEK and POKE will eventually yield an answer, but multiple variables would need to be taken into account.

I just do not think a thread should have multiple titles.

So anyway,

What are we thinking? Definitely need more games played, but perriman is doing one thing good already: catching the ball.

And he’s getting open. I like this, because the more he gets comfortable, the more dangerous our team gets. It’s gonna he’ll take rolled coverages off of Landry.

You can edit the title of your specific reply when you're,

A) replying to a specific post
B) using the quick reply box and selecting the full screen reply mode

No other variables need apply.

What controls the title you see if you make no changes, for each posting method?

That is a variable, and it does apply. Your definition of the situation is too narrowly specified.

Perriman was dumped for too many drops, despite significant talent. Perhaps he has been motivated to improve his focus and concentration, for whatever reason. IF repeat IF this is so, and IF repeat IF it continues, he could be a significantly valuable asset who cost us very little, in our area of greatest need, WR, and not just WR, but our biggest need at WR, which is deep threat.

I am hoping for a monster game from him when we play his old team.

It's the Bostonian spelling, according to the team site.

B R E S H A D. Only one "r".

"Perrier", however, has one silent "r". Or is it two?

So far so Good. I was pleasantly surprised at his hands and route running skills. Granted he came to the NFL very Raw and needed a lot of work. That is one position that OZ has not been good at drafting. This could be big time for us getting a 1st round talent that is actually developed into being just that.

Kid has speed. Hope that this is not just luck. It also helps having a QB putting the ball right in a spot where it is hard to do anything else but catch it. What I love is that he is doing so without breaking stride. Him and Calloway as Steals?!? btw the latter has been getting better with each game.

Got to love it.

So we lose Gordon who is a tragedy waiting to happen and what a coincidence ever since he came back to playing for the Pats...they haven't looked so hot. Must be a coincidence...what about those rumors of him not showing up to meetings???

We lose Gordon and gain Perriman that would be great!!!

Not sure if he has been targeted more than his receptions ... But he also has two rushing attempts.

His numbers will only increase ... Unless there is a relapse.

He's had as many incompletes as completions; most - almost all - came in the KC game, though.

If I remember his first game with us 2 weeks ago, he was targeted 6 times with only two catches but he was Pass interference on several of those literally grabbed and nothing was called. So can't criticize him there. This game no Interference and he ran some good patterns where Mayfield threw the ball on the break. Good slants right on the money and came very close on breaking that one tackle needed to a possible TD Jerry Rice type of play!

As stated I hope this wasn't just luck and he actually has reached his potential with us...Raven's loss and our Gain wink got to love it! For me better than Pryor and better than Gordon! If he keeps it up...

You're saying he won't beat out Ratley, Willies, and the unknown camp standout we always have?

Not sure yet, but by the end of the year, if he continues developing and earning PT, I think he will.

Not a fan of his ... but if he proves me wrong and he can catch the ball ... theres a spot in this league for him ... hes fast and atheletic .... he was drafted in the first rnd even though he had questionable hands .... there was a reason for that ...

Players don’t usually start catching the ball in year 3 in the nfl after a history of drops ... but it is possible ...

I believe Pit pointed out that reports during TC were that he was catching the ball ...

I don’t think it will happen ... but if it does .. he will have aspot somewhere in their league .... maybe even with us ... u can’t teach speed and athelticism ...

I think we would carry at least five if not six WR's. That could possibly leave a spot for Perriman but I would also draft more than one guy this draft to compete.

Absolutely.
If some of the guys we really like get pushed off the roster because we've improved on the top end, so much the better.

All of these guys are good enough that they will find work after Cleveland if that were to happen.

One thing i dont understand is why we dont try to get the ball to seth more. He has proven he can be productive and with dedenses now having to stop jarvis, perryman and njoku and nick C, seth could be open alot

True, but idk if he would be worth the salary to be a 5th or 6th guy when a 5th rd rookie can do that job.

I'm not reading good things regarding WRs in this next draft...one pundit's quote was basically 'If you want offensive playmakers in this draft...well...it's a great year to get a TE'.
