When addressing a baby who doesn't think, I address them on their own level.
Let's say the very thing you are complaining about had turned out differently. Let's look at what your ilk says should have happened last season. It's the theory of you and yours that Hue should have won three or four games at least last season. So let's say that what you believe should have happened did happen.
Where would we have been positioned in the draft? Third and fourth? Fourth and fifth? Would Mayfield have been there at that position? If not, what would we have had to give up to move to #1 to get him? Would we still have Ward? Chubb?
See, everything that happened last year led us to where we are this year. It led to the draft position that got us to where we are now.
Nobody is embarrassed about anything. I wanted Hue to get a shot with better talent. He blew that shot. Nobody said he was some great coach, just that every HC deserves a fair shot.
Those trying to re-write history and walk around thumping their chests are the people who need to grow up and actually think about where we are now and realize that last years terrible season is what helped put us in the position we are now.
