Good, see ya

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Wonder if we can send him to LA?

they just need to dump everyone older than 25 and rebuild...this is a horrible team. I don't even think with lebron this team would have more than 5 wins. No leadership at all. No accountability. Someone is going to have to step up

Agreed. I'd certainly expect Korver to be traded and won't be surprised if/when Love is traded. Trade Hill, too.

Continue to tank for the next couple years and keep building through the draft.

A little snippet from Jason Lloyd's piece in The Athletic....

I asked Hill when the organization recalibrated, when they went from competing to developing (tanking). Hill backed Smith in a sense. This was always the plan.

“I think it recalibrated before Game 1 was even played,” Hill said. “In the summer, it felt like politically you have to say we can still do these things because you want everyone to buy in to being here. Once everybody is here, I don’t know. The directions change.”

The organization insisted to Love they were going to compete, which is part of the reason he signed here long term. The Athletic reported previously that Kyle Korver was assured he would be bought out or traded if James left, yet he’s still here.

And now there is the realization this team never intended to compete. Executives around the league shook their heads in disbelief all summer at the idea the Cavs could contend for the playoffs with this roster. Now it’s clear they never really believed it, either. It was just an ill-conceived stunt to try to keep interest high both publicly and internally among the players.

Yeah, there's really nothing to like about what we have going

I have to wonder if Lebron feels like a traitor out there.

McGee is so much better than TT.

Which quarter of the team do you think is worth keeping?

I didn't see the game, but correct me if I'm wrong ..... but we led at the half, were tied after 3, and lost by 4 .... against a Lebron James team .... and that's trash????

There's a reason the Lakers are 8-2 over their past 10. (with one of those losses to the East leading Raptors)

To me, that sure seems respectable.

I would also add that we were without 4 starter/sometime starters from last year .... Love, Hill, JR Smith, and, of course, Lebron.

College basketball pundits were saying earlier today that Duke could beat the Cavs. Instead, they lost to Gonzaga. Way to go Zags!

Then they said that Gonzaga could beat the Cavs.

I honestly think this roster has 1 real NBA starter on it. Kevin Love. A few fringe starters and a few rotational players.

Cedi Osman might have the worst +/- in NBA history.

Glad the fans and organization showed some class this time around in regards to LeBron's return. I was a little disappointed that the ovation wasn't longer and louder, but at least it wasn't ugly.

In Philly? That has to upset their fans. I guess this means Duke could cream the 76ers too (so lame).

I guess the bump in energy Lebron brought to town rubbed off.

It's nice to see the Cavs get a big win like this.

I think that they can knock off a team here or there. They do have some talent, it's just that they need to play a really clean game. The Cavs shot really well from 3 point range today, and I really think that was a huge key, along with being able to grab offensive rebounds.

Fun game.

Yea, the team looked really good last night.

They’ve been growing for sure. Question......will love mess up whatever chemistry he team is building? Does he make our team ultimately better or worse?

i know people lost interest, but we have now won 2 in a row against some really good teams.

we beat houston tonight 117-108. sexton played like a beast with 29 points on 14-21 shooting. clarkson had 20, and TT is playing his best stretch of ball i've ever seen.

really solid play, and we look like a well coached team.

I didn't see the game, bro. But, I watched Sexton in the Summer league and I knew he was a player, despite what some of the BB geniuses were saying earlier this season.

Btw..............how is my boy--TT doing?

TT is playing very well. for the month of november, he's averaging 13 points and 12 rebounds, and eclipsed the 20+ rebound night twice.

he's cleaning up boards and look like he's finally taken a step forward with regards to his offensive game. and watching him, still has very good feet and still plays very good defense, even against smaller players.

What about Sexton? I liked him in the rookie league. You seeing any good signs from him? Also..........I always kinda liked Cedi. How is he doing?

this is just my opinion, but the play of the entire team, specifically TT, sexton, and cedi, have risen ever since JR left the team. the whole squad looks focused now, and actually playing really good defense. Harden had a decent night, but sexton certainly held his own against harden, and as a rookie, i couldnt be more happier with the effort.

there were times tonight where he simply exploded to the rim. bro, he has some john wall in him as far as exploding to the rim, and has a decent mid range game.

anytime.

if you catch a cavs game, again just my opinion, but the 3 guards he reminds me of (active players) is eric bledsoe, jrue holiday, and john wall.

I watched the dude in college and in the rookie league. He reminds me of a smaller Russell Westbrook. Tenacious as hell! I really get the Bledsoe comparison, though.

Thanks for real BB talk.

This was a pretty good stretch last two games, Drew is doing a helluva good job getting these guys good game plans. Man when hill and love come back I’m not sure what you do with them. Young team finally starting to get it. Hell even Thompson is balling out. They are entertaining I give them that. This isn’t two mediocre teams we’re talking about, and if lakers didn’t have LBJ it would have been 3 games

Yeah he's improving too

He was touted after the draft as being ultra-competitive and a hard-worker. So hopefully he's putting in his time and getting better at things. He needs to stop with the 20-foot "Larry Hughes threes" though. Either drive it in, or take a full three pointer. Good to see him improving though. We need our young core to make strides.

His perimeter game *should* improve ... that's a final step for many players

Amico tweeted that there is a rumor out there that the Cavs and Sixers are possibly (and I stress possibly) talking about trading Kyle Korver and a protected pick for Markelle Fultz.

Thoughts?

I don't think it happens. Maybe the Cavs can wait a bit and get something for Korver (he'd be a great addition for a contender)
