Bellichick's career is the history we'd be living if Modell hadn't been a greedy a-hole.

Steelers/Chargers is a good game so far
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Another vastly over-rated year full of hype for Phil and the Chargers.

Wow, Chargers have charged back to tie the Steelers.

What a satisfying ending!

Steelers are imploding, the Bengals don't have a Quarterback Or AJ Green.
I wish the 16 game season were beginning this week, the Browns could take the division.
as it is, it's almost mathematically impossible now.
Queston?
How are the Browns going to Flub this up in the offseason?
Cut a dozen veterans? Bring in a new head coach? Change the scheme on defense?
All of the above?

The Chargers are a very good team. Them and Houston are the two most complete teams I saw us play.

Rivers has always been really really good ... and hes always been real good at pre and post snap reads ... very quick ... watching him last night ... he took it to a whole new level last night ... Watching him orchestrate every single thing around him from pointing things out to the ol to putting a back or a reciever in a different spot to his head being on a swivel surveying the D ... u could see the puzzle pieces coming together in his mind with each head movement and corresponding adjustment or info he’d give to someone with what he’d just learned .. And every snap came with 2 seconds or less on the play clock and he used everyone of those seconds to his advantage ... he knew exactly what was gonna happen post snap ... by the 4th quarter there was no 3rd down i didn’t think they wouldn’t pick up ... 3rd and 5 or 6 was a joke ... it was like qb sneak easy ... *L* ... He was like watching a surgeon last night ... i really enjoyed it ....

What a satisfying ending! Crazy ending. Offsides on 3 straight FG attempts, each one was further offsides than the one before. The last one, Burns was past the kicker when he kicked it. Actually went behind Burns. Look on Ben's face was priceless. As to NE - did not watch much of the game, but it seems like every time a NE pass goes incomplete, the announcer will add "and no flag?" like they are surprised. Maybe they should be. Indy getting shut out was a surprise. Jax is like the most random team out there.

With all those offside I couldn't help but think the Steelers know they get preferential treatment from the refs and were taking it for a test drive.
I really can't stand that team, their players, or their fans. Even their fans expect preferential treatment as you can tell by their reactions when obvious play calls go against them.
I might exclude Haden from that list. I'm pulling for him to do well. That was a helluva play he made in the end zone on what should have been a pick.

I think Rivers is so smart the way he takes the clock down to 1 and then assesses everything ... just brilliant

Steelers drive me crazy, ugh! The refs didn't call a couple of the Chargers offsides during the game, particularly at the end of the first half. But the Steelers should have overcome that. Definitely not Superbowl contenders at this point, probably one and done in the playoffs. So much wasted talent.

Any word on Conner? If he's gone, that's a big loss.

The refs didn't call a couple of the Chargers offsides during the game, It happened with both teams several times. I have no idea what the line judge was looking at, but he clearly wasn't looking at the line.

I have no idea what the line judge was looking at, but he clearly wasn't looking at the line. The official on that channel explained what happenend ... u guys just dont want to listen ... The official missed it ... no doubt ... i know what happenend and why ... not justyfing it ... he blew it ... the official on the game explained it ... If you’ve ever officiated and work at it and talk to your fellow officials u know how it could happen ... When it happenend against us I told everyone there was a reason for it ... i new the reason just like i did on two or three of the other bad calls ... two weeks later dude got fired ... thats drastic but it was well deserved .. he shouldn’t have even been in the nfl .. he was rushed for non football reasons ... that has not worked out well ... rushing people NEVER does ..... your setting u them up for failure ... the ref that missed that sunday night ... hes taking a hit and will get a major ding .. just ruled himself out of post season for the foreseeable future ..... hes a good official and will get the min punishment on this ... it will be harsh though ... he earned it ... u cant miss that ... u simply can’t ...
