I got to keep quite a bit of more money than I did before the tax cuts. The wealthy probably got more because possibly they paid more. A tax cut is not a hand out like you enjoy. A tax cut is letting those that pay taxes keep more of what they made.

Tax the wealthy more and we pay more at stores, restaurants, any other thing they sell. The wealthy gets their tax money back anyway. The middle class is left paying twice. When the wealthy pay less we pay less for what we buy.

I do very well for myself and I'm extremely aware that we definitely have classes of people in this country. Saying a lower class earner has the same problems as an upper class earner is ignorant to be kind about it. Classifying welfare recipients as not real Americans is gross. My wife's dad left her family at a young age and her mom had no job skills to provide for 2 kids. He worked under the table so she had no child support payments. So her mom went to school and used welfare and snap to provide in the meantime. That you'd consider her not a real American is immensely disgusting.

The price of goods didn't go down because businesses received tax cuts. In case you missed it, the consumer gained nothing from those cuts.

I'll find out for sure come tax time but I may be up for a tax cut well over 5k from 2017. Not bad. But to me it's about much more than getting money back. What did we cut to get this money? My understanding is we didn't cut much of anything. So from an economic standpoint our dollar got devalued by the amount in which the tax cut was granted.

Wealthy people got more tax dollars back in the cut. I... Don't really care as much about that. That's probably my capitalist side showing lol. What I do care about is the inflation. This is why interest rates are rising. And wealthy people by virtue of getting a bigger tax cut get shielded from the inflation. Someone who got only 1k from the tax cut saw all of their money get devalued for 1000 dollars. Not a great trade at all.
