I don't understand why our first one couldn't be declined They called it "Dead Ball", no kick. Thank you for responding, but I know what they called... but why? That's not how the rule works. How could we decline it? There was no kick. I think they blew the call by blowing it dead.

Did the Refs just screw that up by blowing an offsides penalty dead before the kick? My question as well. No. The linemen came out of his stance.

I don't understand why our first one couldn't be declined They called it "Dead Ball", no kick. I think they screwed that up. Offsides isn't a dead ball foul, but they blew an inadvertent whistle which kills the play anyway. Then we missed the remick.
