When's Mayfield going to win a big game against a great D?
Absolutely choked on the pass to Landry. That pathetic one hand attempt of a catch? Eh, I can't argue with a blind man.

Now Dorsey has his justification to get greg Williams out of the building as quickly as possible. Which of course means new coaches new players new systems and another 5 year plan No 5 year plans here. This is win, and win big, next year The 3 year plan was when we were still developing Baker. He's developed. He's ready to go. Add a few pieces to the offense, and upgrade the defense further, and floor the gas. If haley was still coordinator baker wod would be regressing. You act like we can jus bring in any coaching staff and we are good. Thats not how it works

Probably because this was the last game of the year, but this is a bitter pill to swallow. Should have won this game. Just damn.

Anyone else feel if we would have not abandoned the run so quickly it might be a different story No. I feel that it was set up to run after Jarvis’ first down on the final drive.

I don't think that Haley would have tailored the offense to Baker's abilities like Kitchen did.

Another poster said it doesnt matter because baker is a developed qb now. Im trying to say that i dont care who the qbbis a bad coaching staff can ruin things. Baker was not doing well in haley system. After he and hue left he started to grow. I dont want to risk hurting that growth with new coaches and new system.

Baker is a developed QB. Now if we were to hire an offensive coach who would refuse to look at what Baker does well, and try to force him into a different offense, then that could be bad. I can't believe that a new coach would look at the things he does well and say "Well, I'm throwing that all out."

I thought he threw it to Duke on the last play? I can't remember
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I can't believe that a new coach would look at the things he does well and say "Well, I'm throwing that all out." I could see that happening if they dont hire the right guy. Especially if they hire someone who has a ego and is arrogant. I like kitchens. My only gripe is he abandons the run to much, even in games when we are ahead i have seen him do this

Do you really think that Dorsey is not going to fully vet a new Head Coach? Do you really think the coach is going to say "I am going to change everything with the offense, and who cares if my offense aligns with what Baker does best, or not, it's my offense" ..... and not get shown the door?

Its a possibility. I just dont like the idea of gettimg rid of williams and kitchens and blake. We have a culture here that is good now, and it seems the players like these coaches. I just dont like the idea of tearing that apart. I will say this, if bruce ariens is true to his word and would keep kitchens and possibly williams then i would like that. But i dont see greg or his son blake wanting to stay unless greg is the coach

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...
