Agreed. Tough way to lose and end the season. Browns fans know all about those types of losses don't we?

What I want to say here is that if you want to be a team that wins playoff games you absolutely need a kicker who is Cash Money with the game on the line. Take heed, Mr Dorsey, we need an upgrade at PK.

That is a good point.
I have a thread in PFF about how great Dorsey has been and I didn't mention the kicker. I'll give Dorsey a pass for not replacing Gonzo in the off-season because he was a drafted kicker, but I think Dorsey should try and upgrade the kicker position this year.

I don't like when a kicker kicks the ball when a TO is called..just stop the motion...Seems they always make the first one and miss the second.. I told everyone he wont make it..odds against him...Damn I was right when I wish I was wrong !!!!

They said that was the 4th or 5th time this year that Parkey hit the upright. That's amazing, pathetic, and scary.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

I think it was the 6th. I believe he hit the uprights 4 times against Detroit alone.
Those aren't facts. Just my recollection.

I hate to think this kind of stuff, but when they showed him kneeling in prayer after the game,m I wondered if he was praying to keep his job.

YTown..it is definitely a lonely and stressful life to be a kicker... I would would need all of Gods love to get me through another day after losing a Playoff game because of a lousy kick.

Someone earlier wrote about thinking that Baker would have made some throws that were into the ground, or in a poor spot for YAC .... and I admit to thinking the same thing.

Did the Bears go for two when they didn't need to and lose by one point?

Did the Bears go for two when they didn't need to and lose by one point? Well, they were up 15-10 and “the book” says to go for 2 late in the game to be up 7, so they did (and missed). So yeah, it cost them. However, if they had kicked it, which is no guarantee with that kicker, they’d have been up 16-10. When Philly scores their TD, they’re now tied instead of up 1, no need for them to go for 2, so they kick the XP to go up 1. In a roundabout way, Chicago going for 2 and missing forced Philadelphia to go for 2. Play it the other way, and it kind of works out the same, weird. Ultimately, they had a shaky kicker, couldn’t get out of bounds on a few plays and looked lost on the pre-spike play (losing 7-8 seconds). They should have been going for the endzone or at least trying to get a lot closer. That last pass Trubidky attempted had single coverage but he just airballed it like he gave up. That should have been left-shoulder throw for a score. He had him, or at least a great QB finds a way to get the ball near the WR for a chance. Oh well, they had it and left a long kick for a bad kicker. As someone said above, you need a QB and all the other pieces, but if you’re missing a kicker, that WILL kill you in the playoffs at some point. At least one game on a SB run needs a kicker to hit a clutch do-or-die kick. Without that guy, you’re out. We need a better kicker.

The kick was tipped at the line. I saw that on social media, but I'm having a hard time believing it. The ball is not spinning like it was tipped.

Nick Foles can't lose in the playoffs! He's 4-1... just saying.... Yeah. Weren't the Eagles left for dead like 6 weeks ago? Foles comes in and now they're in the 2nd round of the Playoffs. At this point, does Philly consider trading Wentz, and sticking with King Midas?

I wathced Philly play many times for fantasy purposes, and it's crazy that they play better with Foles than Wentz (and they do)
just is a chemistry thing or something
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

sometimes the better Qb isn't the better fit. I think you look to trade wentz for some picks, they need help in the running game
