Yeah, I never used a large bowl. I used what was called a Dugout (one hitter) and or a Protopipe back in the day. Often times a one hit bowl from a bong.

I read something like that also, although, if memory serves me, I believe it said "cannot own or possess a gun". I don't know the exact law though.

When you apply, there is a question that ask "do you use or abuse alcohol or illicit drugs including mj" I believe. So I think that if you are on as a user, the background check will get hit and you will be denied. That's what I read. Since weed is still federally criminalized, it would count.

I still carry a dugout. Easy and convenient when on the move. I use it mainly at music festivals when smoking solo.

My high school bus driver owned a farm that was later sold to the park district because of the caves and waterfalls combined with the woods. As a teenager it was my happy place. We hunted there and camped there a lot.

BTW- We called one area Red Bud valley for a reason. It's funny how the park retained the name of the area.
