Could you repeat that? I am hard of reading. Sounded important. LOLetc.
Pats, but closer than you think, just to clear the refs. Screwing the Aints is one thing; blowing the game for the BellyBoys is, well, sacrilege.

1. Never expected a Defensive dominant game.
2. Proof that Defense does win Championships! That bogus try by the media to sell us that the old adage Defense wins Championships is a dead one...lol year after year it actually shows that the adage still applies.
We got FA and the Draft to make our D much more dominant via acquiring talent.
But I hope all know by yesterday's viewing. The team with the Lesser talent totally dominated on Defense over the other.
So my point is Game Plan and execution by an 11 is way more important than individual talent. That is the key.

LOL........Everyone gets offended these days. High fructose corn syrup is the devil. It is terrible for a person, and can cause many problems for a diabetic, especially. It does not break down well in the human body, and a lot just gets dumped into fat storage. Unfortunately, from what I understand, they changed labeling requirements, and now they label high fructose corn syrup garbage as "fructose", or "fructose syrup", because people have started watching for the high fructose name. I certainly would not drink a beer containing it.

How many games do you win in the NFL by scoring 13 points? Yeah, that explosive output and scoring 13 points was the key to winning the game.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

had a dream,
game ended on a most unexciting play.
not a score, iirc,
moving left to right on the tv screen
patriots get a first down to run out the clock on a pass play to the right side of the offense, bottom side of the tv screen.
somehow it's maybe a 2 point game with the team with the lead in scoring position but chosing to run out the clock.
Overall, I got the feeling the winning team didn't do much near the finnish to win it.
Remember the Browns win over the Broncos? The Browns didn't do much near the end of the game to win it, so it wasn't like the exciting feeling one gets from watching a comeback victory, or a shootout victory as such.
And I think this happens again.
Maybe it was a score, that didn't mean anything,
Overall I think the end of the game will be, the outcome will not be in doubt, and therefore it will be less exciting. ^^ I think my pre game prediction was at least partially accurate.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

jmho Now I don't get this post... Rams D has way more talent than the Patriots D... If anything, IMHO, it was the Patriots O that won the game. Gronk, Brady and Edelman... OUtside of you having an opinion, I don't get what you are saying. Was pointing out that the RAMS D had better individual talent than the Patriots Defense. Are you disputing that as not a fact???
I also stated that the Patriots coaching staff was able to achieve EXECUTION of their game plan which proved to be more Important than having Individual studs as the Patriots Defense DOMINATED THE GAME.
Brady had one superb drive highlighted by one amazing throw and catch from Brady to Gronk.
The Patriots moved the ball and created bad field position for the RAMS. But the offense was not the difference maker.
It was the dominating Defense by the Patriots. The Rams defense were good enough to limit the Patriots to just 3 points for the Half?? (If my memory is correct, its a fog already on the scoring details) pretty sure halftime was 3-0.
In any case my point is the Drives that the Pats got were held to just 3 points. Defense prevailed over offense.
But I think without question the variable in this case that created the OUTCOME was the Patriots Defense. They won this Championship without a doubt.
Also again stat wise which I am not the best at. But I think the 4 participants in the Conference Championship were 2,4,5 and 11 out of the 12 teams in the playoffs regarding Defense in the Post Season. With the Chiefs being that #11 team. But the Patriots were #2 in postseason Defense (Ravens #1) who did not have a QB which is more important than Defense. NFL has changed since 2000 where the Ravens won with no real offense but had a great Defense. Rules Changed as their main goal was to PUT THE QB out of action. The big fatty Saragoose did most of the damage by tackling the QB with full force and lifting up his legs so that his full weight would come down on the QB literally crushing him. If not put out of action they were playing HURT. That game plan is not possible any longer.
The Saints were # 4 behind the Ravens, Pats and Bears....they should have been in the SB and it would have been more competitive.
Offensive. The Pats hands down were the team with the most Yards per game. So statistically I can see where you are coming from. But how much did the Defense have in that opportunity. Watching the game not viewing it on a statistical merit. To these old eyes what the Patriots did on defense is what gave them the Championship. First against the high voltage Chiefs Offense and then against the Rams offense.
Was the lack of Hunt for the Chiefs the difference. Rams had the Offensive player of the year in Gurley but supposedly he was hurt.
I would like to put also a variable out there and it is the COACHING difference. BB just was way advanced from McVay.
SB Experience but just the execution as BB's background is defense and he has a big say in the defense.
McVay's specialty is Offense. BB out coached McVay not even close.
So again my point is the Defense won this game.
Now as it applies to the Browns I am not saying to ignore the offense. What I am saying is to not only obtain talent but to obtain talent that can fit together and be an EXECUTION Machine.
I'd rather have a game changing STUD CB over a WR for this team to become a Champion!
