I don't see him as a back-up. I see a 2 headed monster in the backfield. My hope is each head knows the other has to eat as well.

2 of the top 5 backs in football with the weapons we have on the outside keeping the box empty. Should have very fresh legs even with our new 19 or 20 game schedule.

I think Hunt is an elite RB. He's strong. He is fast in the open field. He is a great receiver. He can elude tackles. He has big-play ability and he is tough as nails.

This was a truly underrated move by Dorsey.

Dorsey knows Hunt. He signed him to just a one year contract and that one year is only 8 games. That tells me that he knows Hunt will be on a short leash via the NFL and could blow up.

I think he is very similar to Duke and a better (tougher) RB I like Duke a little bit more in space.

I think all those who ASSume Dorsey got him and will replace Duke with him. I don't see that as much of an upgrade and is a chance with his character stuff. But what I do see making this team actually BETTER is that Hunt will be replacing HILLIARD...not that is a big time upgrade and worth the Risks involved.

Chubb I think is a better Runner than Hunt and faster. Chubb actually was incredible on yards gained after the first hit.

Hunt if he stays clean is a great pick up...GREAT not good.

I still say when he comes on board we will start to see a lot of that 3 back look for a couple of series. Chubb, Duke and Hunt.

Also we know RBs get hit and Duke gets nicked a lot so that he is limping and playing hurt. Hunt is a good replacement and we won't miss a beat.

Hunt will not take over from Chubb I don't think.

The lack of Hype for Hunt is mostly because he won't be on the team until Game #9. Hard to hype something we don't see. Kid is worth the risk. But I think if Dorsey was dead set on him he would have signed him to a 3 year deal or something of that nature.

jmho under rated? It was a great move it lost a little luster after 2 things: OBJ and the 8 game suspension!

Dorsey really seems to like Hilliard, and he did a nice job, granted in limited duty, as a receiver. He averaged 2.6 yards/catch more than Duke. (11.7 per vs 9.1 for Duke)

I think that Hilliard has a spot on this team, whether Duke is here, or not, and whether Hunt is here, or not. Just my feeling on the situation.

You should watch some game tapes of Hunt. Your opinion will change. He is much better than you are saying.

I agree and Hilliard runs a sub 4.3 40:
