I'm saying religion should not be a requirement for leadership. I'm saying being a never change trog CAN NOT be a requirement for leadership.

The religious can go lead a church if they want to express their religious beliefs in a leadership role. Religion has NO PLACE in government.

That doesn't mean a religious person can't partake in government and express their ideas according to their beliefs, but legislation based on religion is wrong, political leadership based on religion is wrong, holding religion up as worthy of a role in government is wrong.

I hope that doesn't confuse anyone, but there is a difference between a person who believes in a higher power being a member of government, and religion itself taking a seat at the table.
