I'm praying the Dems run a good candidate. The Republicans run a good candidate against Trump in the primaries. Yes I also want to see a unicorn.
My issue with the Republicans is that they don't have another option. I know a couple of young, bright, smart dems running. I can't even name a single republican to oppose Trump other than people who have already said they won't run. I just looked it up, the only person other than Trump to even declare is Bill Weld, who I have never seen before in my life.

I will prove you wrong IF the Dems run a candidate I would vote for. I will not however vote for a Dem just to prove you wrong. You should really know better than that, and I am disappointed that you don;t seem too.

He must realize that we have video, audio, birth records, court testimony, signed affidavits, eyewitness accounts and countless other means for checking the validity and veracity of the stuff he says.
Either he can't help himself or he just doesn't care if he's busted 8-12 times per day. I can excuse exaggerations and hyperbole, but the are flat-out LIES... and even on things for which the truth carries no penalty.

I think it's a mental health thing myself. Compulsive lying is tied to a few disorders I think, but not sure.
He has been the "You're' fired" guy his entire life, surrounded himself with leaches who would not dare to compromise their gravy train by calling him out. Subsequently no one has ever challenged him on these lies so his behavior just became part of what he is from the best I can tell.

I don't think the Ds and Rs in the house and senate really debate EACH OTHER any more.
Somebody proposes a piece of legislation and it's all "procedure" after that.. one party is going to block the vote, the other party is going to force the vote, one party is going to filibuster, one side needs just 2 people from the other side to flip..... at almost no point is it ever reported that the two sides are debating and negotiating to make it a better piece of legislation that might pass with some level of bipartisan support. It just doesn't happen any more.

Check Tim out. I have known him for years. I don't agree with everything he does, BUT he is a good candidate and he looks better to me than anybody else the Dems are running. Like I said I may or may not vote for him BUT I do like the guy.
Don't agree with everything, but campaign finance reform is at the top of my issues list.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said socialism is “not the view” of the Democratic Party.
In an interview with the CBS program “60 Minutes” that aired Sunday, the California Democrat said that lawmakers on her side of the aisle “know that we have to hold the center.”
