Is actually simpler than that. Libs/dems are not that concerned with their reputations. This is why libs like schiff are saying "lots of evidence" when they have none. They know the media will spin it their way, their fellow libs will jump on that bandwagon, and their sheep, the actual sheep, will accept their words without question or sceptisism.

You help elect a scum bag like Trump then claim it's those who oppose you that don't care about their reputations?

Now that's rich right there.

Damn right. After 2 1/2 years of the media lying to you, you're still going to believe their crap. They don't care about lying to you anymore, as they know you'll eat anything they puke up for you.

Trump has told over 9,000 lies since he was elected and you think you have any right to point the finger in a different direction?

Talk about people believing lies that get puked up.

Yet the hipocrite libs believe everything the libs in charge tell them for years. Move along to the slaughterhouse little lambs.

Now you want to believe after two plus years of 'collusion! We got him now!', that your boy Mueller left out obstruction. Or that this time they will give you free health care. Or that the planet will end in 12 years. Or that all the dems who seek to tax you into slavery will actually help you this time. A collective ship of fools if you ask me.

LOL the GOP the party of law and order, ignores law and order.

Can’t wait to see the party of .... ahem ... healthcare ...will take away healthcare for 32 million people instead of guaranteed health care for all.

If you believe this I feel sorry for you and your family. Used care salesmen must get rich off of you.

Let's look at the stupidity of his lies. Let's take a look at one of his latest one's, shall we?

Trump's very own Attny. General said this....He cautioned, however, that Mr. Mueller’s report states that “while this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him” on the obstruction of justice issue.

Then Trump goes around the country saying he was exonerated. If you think that makes a good liar, I've got some swamp land in Florida for you.

Of you like your plan, you can keep your plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. Who's the bigger liar?

You do realize that a person can't be exhonorated on a false allegation, right? The whole collusion story was a farse from the beginning. The people that started this whole thing should be charged

You do realize that was actually the proposal at the time, right? You do realize that by the time it actually made it through the congress and the senate all that changed, right? That when he stated that, it was the plan that was proposed.

And you seem to be trying to deny that there were reasons that this investigation started.

For starters, Don Jr, Kushner and Manafort all went to a meeting with a source connected to the Russian government who claimed to have dirt on Hillary. While she didn't actually have the dirt on Hillary she claimed to have, the intent and desire to work with Russia to impact the election was clearly there. Convenient little things like this clearly fly over your head.

And if the people who started this should be charged? Then you'll be charging Republicans. Comey, who began this. The the Assistant Attorney General Rod Rosenstein who appointed Mueller as special counsel. Then of course you can't charge McCain who handed over the dossier. But I guess you could charge Lindsey Graham who told McCain he needed to hand the dossier over.

You sure want to punish a lot of Republicans for this don't you?

So, for what it's worth, if Don Jr., Kushner and Manafort went to a meeting to get dirt on Hillary, and that is your issue, please realize the hillary campaign also did the same thing, and funded it as well.

So.............what?

Hitlery paid a foreign agent to create dirt on Trump. The fbi tried to plant agents into his campaign. The Russian that Trump's people talked to was paid by the firm hitlery hired to dig up dirt on Trump.

Are you just trying to be obtuse now? Since when did the U.K. become an enemy of the United states? Was the U.K.interfering in our election process?

AP report: Website with GOP ties funded research on Trump dossier

You do realize it was the Republicans who started this entire thing, right?

And you're sitting here trying to compare the U.K. to Russia.

I'm not certain you read your link:

Quote:
A conservative website with strong ties to the Republican establishment triggered the investigation into Donald Trump’s past that ultimately produced the dossier that alleged a compromised relationship between the president and the Kremlin.

The Washington Free Beacon on Friday confirmed it originally retained the political research firm Fusion GPS to scour then-candidate Trump’s background for negative information, a common practice known as “opposition research” in politics. Leaders from the Free Beacon, which is funded largely by Republican billionaire Paul Singer, insisted none of the early material it collected appeared in the dossier released later in the year detailing explosive allegations, many uncorroborated, about Trump compiled by a former British spy.

“During the 2016 election cycle we retained Fusion GPS to provide research on multiple candidates in the Republican presidential primary, just as we retained other firms to assist in our research into Hillary Clinton,” wrote the site’s editor-in-chief, Matthew Continetti, and chairman Michael Goldfarb. They continued: “The Free Beacon had no knowledge of or connection to the Steele dossier, did not pay for the dossier, and never had contact with, knowledge of, or provided payment for any work performed by Christopher Steele.”

So, a conservative website initiated an investigation about a republican it wasn't supporting, hoping to find dirt. It also did 'opposition research' on Hillary.

Paul Singer supported not trump, and not hillary, but a different republican. Ok?

Then we have this, from your link:
Quote:
Earlier in the week, reports revealed that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee continued funding Fusion’s work after the original GOP source lost interest.

Hmmm............

And this:
Quote:
The Center for American Freedom was organized as a 501(c)4 and did not reveal its donors, but Singer was the sole funder of the site as recently as 2014, according to a Republican political veteran familiar with the site.

A little more, from your link, from Rubio:
Quote:
“As far as whether it was my campaign, it wasn’t and I’ll tell you why,” he told CNN. “I was running for president. I was trying to win. If I had anything against Donald Trump that was relevant and credible and politically damaging, I would’ve used it. I didn’t have it.”

Again, this:
detailing explosive allegations, many uncorroborated, about Trump compiled by a former British spy.

And, again, this:
Earlier in the week, reports revealed that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee continued funding Fusion’s work after the original GOP source lost interest.
So, paying for dirt from a foreigner is okay, as long as it's the dirt, fake dirt, but the dirt you want, but talking with a foreign gov't. and getting no dirt is wrong.

It's okay to collude with an ally, to get false news, but it's not okay to not get news/info from Russia.

Mueller report: No collusion.

your article: A republican supporting someone other than trump was looking for dirt on trump and didn't find any. The hillary campaign funded more research, and ended up with a false dossier.

And you're okay with that?

I thought the whole issue was a foreign gov't. getting involved in our election? I guess I was wrong, based on you, and your link.

You totally avoided the meat and potatoes here. Was the guy doing the investigating it involved with a government undermining the American election? Was there anyone working hand in hand with a foreign government at all? Wasn't it a Republican who started this investigation?

You act like investigating politicians is a new thing. It's not. But the idea of working with a foreign government that is currently undermining a presidential election is.

You are correct that the report found no collusion. But when a man's son, campaign manager and son in law decide to meet with a Russian with ties to their government to get dirt on their opponent, all while the Russians are working to undermine that campaign through illegal activities like hacking, there's cause to investigate it.

You trying to compare the two is just pure silliness.

Sorry bud..........if an almost 2 1/2 year investigation in which the investigator had leeway to pursue anything and everything he wanted..........found nothing, I have to go with it.

I feel YOU are missing the meat and potatoes. The republican that started this found nothing in his quest to find something to help another republican candidate, and he quit. The dems.......well, hillary's campaign, paid a foreigner to come up with some false accusations, which have been investigated for over 2 years.

We sure as hell do not know that the investigation found nothing. What we do know is that Trump's hand picked AG said Mueller did not recommend indicting Trump .... there is miles and miles of middle ground between found nothing and did not find enough to prosecute beyond a reasonable doubt.

And that's solely on Russian collusion. And I trust Mueller and am happy to let it go - but until we see the actual report to say "found nothing" is completely wrong. That's like saying Smollet is totally innocent because they didn't prosecute him.

As for obstruction ... again we need to see the report and know what was discovered by Mueller. WHY? Because before Barr was appointed he wrote to state that his opinion is that the sitting POTUS can never be prosecuted/indicted/impeached for obstruction of justice ...... so Barr's "opinion" that he laid out in his summary is totally meaningless.

This is where it's gets muddy. They didn't charge a single American at the conclusion of the investigation for colluding with a foreign power to steal an election. That is a fact.

Saying Trump did nothing wrong is a leap of faith that given his history, I don't think anyone should be making. The problem is, when I state that fact, there was no collusion hard lefts get outrageously butthurt. Not sure how else to frame it, they didn't charge a single American, can;t interpret that any other way.

That does not completely exonerate him from everything, just collusion.

Nothing? Yes, all those indictments and guilty pleas/verdicts were nothing. The fact there's evidence of obstruction of justice is nothing. The fact that so many people that Trump surrounded himself with lied about Russian contacts on their disclosure forms is nothing. The fact that Kushner, Manafort and Don Jr. went to a meeting to get dirt on Hillary, which most likely would have come from illegal hacking....... nothing. The fact that it was those same Russians that had already hacked emails illegally in an attempt to undermine our elections is nothing.

You do realize there are still things Mueller turned over to other courts still under investigation based on the things he found, right?

You seem to call a whole lot of something, nothing.

So the Republicans started the investigation. After seeing the report, a Republican, McCain, decided to show it to another Republican, Lindsay Graham. Who urged McCain to turn it over to the Justice Department. Which he did. The justice department, ran by a Republican, looked it over combined with the evidence I outlined above, and appointed yet another Republican, Mueller to do an investigation.

Yeah, the whole thing was the fault of the democrats.
