Watching a replay on who touched it last, REALLY sours me on the game,
I'll tune in to something else, and check back in a few minutes.
(I don't care if they get the call wrong, it's not big a deal.)
Could not agree more.. absolutely kills it for me when they take a play that would get called one way 99.99999% of the time all year and suddenly in this instance they have to micro-officiate down to the nano-second.. completely changed the flow and complexion of the game.
And I hope nobody comes at me with the lame argument that "it's just important to get the call right"... because that's total BS. If they had some altruistic motivation to just make sure every call was right, they would have reviewed the play before that when the UVA guy went to the deck and they called a foul on TT and they would have quickly seen what I saw live, which was that the UVA guy tripped over his own teammate...
Just let the officials do their damn job.. or review every single thing.. but the way they do it now really chaps my arse more often than not.
**All credit to UVA, they are a worth champion who was a top 2 or 3 team all year and they did deserve it, I just wish the officials had not ruined my personal ability to enjoy the final minute of what was otherwise a very enjoyable game.. ok, I'm done.
