*scratching my head*... Why wouldn't you be in support of sending illegals directly to self designated sanctuary cities? Instead of criticizing Trump you ought to be criticizing the Dems for not taking him up on his offer.

Look, you guys spend so much time telling us how we're the stupid ones, how liberals are so damn intelligent and smart and wise, and how they have all the answers and anything they claim to be true is well, "common sense" and there for not to be questioned.

IF we are to believe everything the Dems have told us about immigrants and immigration, they should be jumping at this because Trump would be playing right in to their hands. You don't get a political softball like this often.

I'd be interested in hearing someone lay out a case why Trump shouldn't give the Dems what they've said they've wanted all along.

I'm not quite sure how you could twist your post into what it says unless you're binging on FOX News but let's take a look at it, shall we?

California and other sanctuary cities across the country have NEVER asked for "more immigrants" as Trump claims. It's yet another in the pages upon pages of Trump lies that have been told in his short time as president. Now I don't agree with protecting people who enter our country illegally.

But the reason it's being done is these locations believe in protecting every member of their community. They believe it's not their duty to help enforce federal immigration policy at the local level.

Now I think we both disagree with that but trying to pretend they desire to absorb our entire nations illegal immigration population is foolish at best.

It's nothing more than Trump acting like the petulant child he always does. Trying to take a national issue and put it on the shoulders of those he perceives as his enemy. Trying to lay a huge financial burden at their feet.

I wouldn't be surprised that some posters on this board would support such grade school tantrum like behavior, but I'm a little surprised you do.

He should also make all these sanctuary area,s pay from their own pockets for this and not one penny of federal tax money after all the reason they want theses people are lemming voters and I for one think that the DNC should pay for them.

I think all of those Republicans that own businesses that hire them which displaces American workers to cut labor costs and raise their profits should pay for them.

I remember when George Wallace basically declared Montgomery Alabama a Sanctuary City where schools were to remain segregated, against Federal Law, the Dems sent in the Military to put that crap down.

We should send troops to all the states who have made medicinal and recreational marijuana legal too. I mean that goes against federal law as well.

Now here's the issue. If you take illegals and split them evenly among all of the sanctuary cites, states and counties in the U.S., that one thing. They could absorb them.

But does anyone on either side think that's how any of this would work? Of course not. Trump will look at his biggest political enemies and areas and flood them with immigrants. That's what happens when you have a vile human being running your country.

He will mold national policy with nothing more in mind than hurting those he despises. And his followers will cheer as he does.

All of a sudden, a wall is looking pretty good.

If he's trying to convince people into supporting a wall, he just gave the first legitimate reason to do so.

Trump will send them where they are supposedly wanted.

Why do you cry about receiving those you care about more than your own citizens?

What other description could you give to taking a city and stuffing (confining) all those you consider undesirable into it in hopes they suffer and cause others you dislike to suffer? That's exactly what the Nazis did in the ghettos.
