20-2 Great game for the D....O really did everything possible to lose this game...including scoring points for the other side It's goin to b a loooooooooooong season....next week will be a big test on the road... Only positive i can think of that we improved upon from 1st game is beanie rushin for 146 yards on 20 carries!

ok, so the Buckeyes get the win, however, they should have put this game away much sooner, having gained 300 and some total yards: pushing 200 on the ground. The turnovers have to STOP! 1 you can overcome, 5 will kill you against better teams. I doubt OSU will beat Washington if they turn the ball over 5 times.

4 turnovers for Ohio State...wtf??? That will not get us a bowl game and Michigan will stomp on OSU if they play like this.
Would that be the same Michigan who lost in the biggest upset of the year
That would be the same Michigan team that gives us fits every year, and I think we play in Michigan.

Wow - did ya'll see that play for the TD... earlier in the game they ran the statue of liberty play for a big gainer... now they FAKED the statue of liberty play with the QB keeping it... UM was faked out of their shoes! Of course I didn't realize who had it until the QB scored the TD

ok, GM, I offer my humble apologies after seeing what Oregon is doing to Michigan today, in Michigan.
We, OSU, can definitely beat the Wolverines!

ok.. I do have to admit that I laughed pretty hard when Carr was asked "Do you have any idea what [Henne's] injury is?"
and Carr just answered "sure I do" with a little smile... have to admit that was pretty funny.
Surprised he put a lot of blame on his offense... his defense looked horrid as well.

Lloyd Carr, if you are reading this, click HERE for assistance.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

I just got back from the OSU game. Let's just say this.. I am glad it was just Akron and not a Big Ten team.. wayyyyy too many turnovers for me. We cannot afford these mistakes against Washington. On the [plus side.. I waleked into the bar.. the game was justt starting and a guy walked up to me and asked if my son and I would like to go to the game.. Drrr.. well, we got the tickets and with the help of his OSU student ID we got in.. how the hell a gate attendant thinks I look like a college student is beyond me but I ain't questioning sheet

Henne benched... is it because the injury? or not?
Crowd is cheering the freshman pretty loudly... looks like Hart is going to get fed a lot....

I suppose everyone will be piling on more now that the Big Ten ain't a good conference. The TV coverage analysts surely were,...I don't really care. It ain't about who has a better conference -- it's only about who gets there at the end.
I feel bad for Long, Henne and Hart, but I don't feel bad that it won't be Michigan.
Right now, it's gonna be USC and Oklahoma.

I like to disagree, but only because I called it --that is, last week's game. Too many folks are not giving Appalachian State credit for being the good team that it is. They're only 12 scholarships removed from being a 1-A team, half of whose 117 members they could probably beat. Was it a fluke ?? Yes, especially against "Michigan." So, how does one explain today's fiasco ? Better PAC-10 recruiting, weak Big Ten, fluke ??
Next week 0-2 Michigan faces 0-2 Notre Dame. Something has to give,...

i don't think it's about giving app st. credit as much as it is about michigan...
this was a team that was supposed to be the 5th best in the nation, a team that had 2 heisman candidates, and a team that was supposed to contend for a national championship...
while i think app st could have beaten a number of teams last saturday, michigan, if they were as good as advertised, should have won the game...
after watching what oregon did to them today, they were not as good as advertised... some of the players on michigan (i won't mention any names :::cough mike hart :::cough jake long) talked a lot in the pre-season, but obviously didn't back it up...
lloyd carr is worse than john cooper...
i mean, at least john cooper won games up until the michigan game...

Well,...the Browns NEVER are, so that, sir, would be exactly why I had to quit !!! (You were talking about Ohio State, right ??) Just kidding,....Michigan is just like Oklahoma, never as good as they're supposed to be.

LOl yah you called it...sure thing buddy... Anyways...MEEchigan got their ass handed to them...one thing is for sure...their secondary sucks so bad they can't keep up with anyone... It's almost like ever since that OSU game where they spread em out n picked em apart everyone is using the same style of game against them to beat em up....it's sweet too bad ND cant' pull that off...i don't see MEEchigan losin next week...hart will run all over em

In the "Upset" thread -- which I can't get into anymore, I repeatedly said I would not be surpirsed to see either YSU or ASU win in week one, most especially that Michigan had better have its bootstraps pulled up tight because they would have trouble stopping ASU's sophomore QB,....
Had Vegas allowed it, I would be one rich SOB right now,....there are more of these kinds of upsets coming too, especially to teams in the Northeastern part of the country where recruiting is spread amongst so many more colleges than it is in the Southeast, Texas and California.

i'm jus bustin ur chops...i really don't care if u called it or not...it's not called an upset for no reason..most didn't think it could happen..that is a fact..not sure what that had to do with what i said earlier..but either way it was an UPSET and such a big deal because it was a IAA team.

I Just heard Denny Green Talking about Michigan on the radio. He said for the Last 4 years and I quote. "!!!THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!!""
Einstein could not even fathom the mathematical improbabilities of the Browns woes.

True that. I just thought the Denny Green quote would be funny. Forgive me for letting my jovial nature cloud my analytical mind.
