Unfortunately I wasn't born when Bernie first started...my last real memory of Kosar is him coming in relief of Vinny.

Just how old are you?

Seriously, if you don't remember Bernie starting, then obviously you don't remember (or should I say "you didn't have the privilege of seeing) Sipe, Rucker, Logan, Newsome, the Pruitts, Clay, Minifield, Dixon, .............geez, I'm glad you're a Browns fan.....You haven't been around to see the "good old days". I'm sure you've heard about them, and probably seen clips, but some of us "old" timers were living the high life back with Sipe, and then with Bernie.....days when the Browns were expected to win, and when the Browns themselves expected to win.......

Not knocking on you at all......just re-living the good times outloud, I guess.

20. Don't remember any real details until '99, and didn't really closely watch the X's and O's stuff until '01 and even then it wasn't until I was 16 when I started to figure out the smaller details of what I was seeing.

Still learning too...and I hope I get to see some good things soon because this team has probably shortened my life a few years due to the stress.

Well Ill give you credit for being a trooper thats for sure. In the 70's the browns were not all that good so I ended up with the Raiders as my backup team. Figures that the the Steelers would cause me grief there as well.
Good times are coming and you'll have plenty of stories like we all do from that time of how bad things were way back when.
This may perhaps be one of the few teams that I dont believe has many fair weather fans because we pack that stadium week in and week out no matter how bad they are we love our Browns.
When the good times come you will love it even more because you care.

If you need 3 years to be a winner you got here 2 years to early. Get it done Browns.

Ammo I to love to see the younger fans carrying on the tradition of being a Browns fan. Your generation is spiecial because you have very little true highlights to grasp on to.

Us older guys have the memories to hang on to but we also are to a point in our lives that we realize life is short and we don't have the time to waist on Frye/Anderson. Everytime I say those names the puke starts coming into my mouth.

Just wait till next season, I have heard that for over 40 years!

Merth, do you honestly believe other teams care which one of the two start?

Yes, I do. When the Browns are behind on the scoreboard - they will be a pass heavy offense like they were on Sunday. You don't have to spend much time game planning how to stop the run - get up by 2 TDs, and the Browns will all but stop running.

DA and CF are very different QBs. CF holds the ball too long and runs too much. DA makes quick, inaccurate, throws to double covered WRs.
