You know it's rather odd. You feel fine saying that Barr has every right to redact things that have to do with national security in the Mueller report on one hand.

Then on the other hand you want for our security agencies to reveal how and what evidence they have against the Russians hacking.

It sounds as if you're picking and choosing who should reveal what and wish to believe one side while refusing the believe the other side based on the same criteria.

Well to be honest about it, if you look at my earlier posts you will see one FOX guy saying he is a hero while another FOX guy says he is a villain.

I do not like punishing whistle blowers, I didn't like it when Obama did it and I do not like it now. I think they should release Chelsea Manning and Julian Assange.

Unless the Russians were at the dnc hq, this is very doubtful. From what I've heard, the data was transferred at too high a rate to go over the Internet. This was pulled from wiki leaks files. They would have needed gigabit Ethernet at the very least from one end to the other to transfer at those speeds.

I'm all for the dnc turning over their servers for inspection and analysis.

By the way, for those of you that don't know, yes, that type of info is retained in files when they are transfered.

Manning committed espionage and treason. Unfortunately, his sentence was either commuted or he was pardoned. I forget which. Assange only published it, unless he helped manning. No crime otherwise.

Rape case against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to be reopened, Swedish prosecutors say

Swedish prosecutors said on Monday they will reopen a rape case against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, at the request of the alleged victim's lawyer.

The case's reopening comes a month after he was removed from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.


Sweden's deputy director of public prosecutions Eva-Marie Persson made the announcement at a news conference in Stockholm. She said that “there is still a probable cause to suspect that Assange committed a rape.”

Swedish prosecutors filed preliminary charges against Assange after he visited the country in 2010. Assange, who has denied the charges, has avoided extradition by seeking refuge in London's Ecuadorian embassy.

Seven years later, a case of alleged sexual misconduct was dropped when the statute of limitations expired. That left a rape allegation, which couldn't be pursued while Assange was living at the embassy. The statute of limitations on that case expires in August 2020.
