It should be a worse punishment than having an abortion. But we know how the GOP sheep will try to keep that from happening. After all having an abortion should carry a higher punishment than rape or child molestation according to the GOP sheep.

Like everything else there are varying degrees of child rape.

Here's what I would consider to be the mildest form of child rape:

I remember a kid in my high school who was charged with statutory rape. I think for having sex with his girlfriend. (I wasn't privy to the exact details - only the "high school rumor mill".)

Unfortunately for him, he was 18 years-old, she was 17 (or 16 maybe?) (and of course her parents must have hated him - he was like a "gear-head" - into cars)

I don't think he needed to be crucified. (I don't know what his exact legal punishment was. But he was looked at as a pariah by everybody in school) (like an evil loser walking in the hallways)

Contrast that with the other extreme.

On the other extreme I would say intercourse with a baby would be right up there.

Certainly worthy of an extended prison sentence. (20 years sounds good)

Yeah...Yeah...Yeah...I know torture him to death.
