I seen the interview last night. Got to admit he looked alot better than has been said on this board. Imagine that.

Hopefully hes back for '07...but if he isn't healthy I'd hope he wouldn't come back too soon and risk re-injury. I really hope we sign Hank soon, just as an insurance policy. It would make our line that much better, as we could slide LCB to LG and play Hank at C. IF and thats a big if...we sign hank and LCB/Tuck get healthy...we're only 1RG away from at least an average to slightly above average oline.

Wishful thinking ; I'm with ya ! .. However we are at least two Guards and a tackle away from being average !

I hope Bentley can come back healthy. Put him at RG where he has a better chance of protecting his legs. I think he is even better at guard than center anyway and he is a great center. Now find a beast of a RT to team with him. Blaylock in the first or Sears in the 2nd.

Anderson starting again. Good.

Dorsey at RT this week. Good. I liked him at RT in the preseason and thought our running game was better when he was over at RT. LT umm noo lol

Welcome back Speegle.

I'm in a wait n see mode with LB, which also includes where he might lineup at should he be able to come back..

As far as Blalock, I don't see us getting a chance to get him in the first round depending on where he's projected to go..in the 5-10 range I don't know..
If Branch comes out and is also projected in that range we almost would need to take him on the Dline.

No offense to any of you guys, but where in that article would you get the idea that he will play in 2007?

Hint-----read his comments when asked about playing in 2007 and whether he is able to run or not.

i think we should go into the offseason as if he were not coming back. we can't go into FA and the draft leaving a spot open for him. if he does make it back, we can deal with the lineup then.

Only brownsfan1508 said anything about HOPEFULLY being back in 07..
and he still wasn't saying it for sure but just hopefully..
All the other comments seemed to made on WHEN he comes back..

Knox I said that many times..treat it as if he's not here or will be here.

all i ststed was that he looked alot better than what was said on this board, but he wouldn't comment on whether he would be back next year or not. has nothing to do with him looking good.

Even with that I said hopefully...but I'm not one to set myself up for disappointment. I think we need to approach this offseason with the thought he wont be back. I was still half asleep when I typed that earlier so maybe I was still dreaming

Yea I saw that...just wanted to make sure Vers didn't confuse me for a hopeless optimist. I'm a little more on the optomistic side than him, but I still try to see things for what they are. Now if I said he WOULD be back..someone better find me and slap me back to this universe.
