Oh no...we've devolved into a kicker thread.  There is no such thing as a wasted day 3 pick IMO. A lot of players get cut in favor of day 3 picks hopefully developing (not just kickers). You still pick them and hope for the best. I gleefully look forward to the day we are willing to cut 5th, 6th or 7th round picks early. It is a sign of a good front office (I truly believe that). When we start cutting top 100 draft picks before their 3rd season, well...time to overhaul the scouting department.

The problem has often been overhauling the everything, too soon. I'd hate to see a scouting department go, because some college player ends up not as good as someone thought. No guarantees to make a roster anymore.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

not sure that would apply to kickers...ya mean he gets it now...he had a problem understanding the verbage in kick the freaking ball between the goal posts...lol
