Listening to Pete talk about serving and thinking he looks more like a Parkland Kid than a vet. He did well tonight.

The gun industry needs a dem to win cause their sales are weak as hell. I’m sure the Fox News crowd will alresdy start the “they coming for our guns” campaign soon.

Why couldn’t they just let Lester Holt ask most of the questions.
I don’t like Todd and maddows up there.

Any threat to the 2nd amendment should be taken very seriously. Any law that would be passed by Harris would be not enforceable anyway.

GilleBrand just said she's going "first act' to go to Iran and stabilize it?
You think a US president that looks like Barbie is going to get much respect from Iran on day one? We can include Women's rights , places like Iran? Iran Doesn't!
Better off to send Pelosi to Iran, at least she's a (person who rides broomsticks on Halloween).
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Fox should host the debates. The debates should be longer, and each person should get more time at once, something like 4 minutes of listening to one person, no more of this 30 seconds and move on stuff. Everything is going unanswered and unfinished, at best.

So, in no particular order, the top 5 should be:
Mayor Pete Harris Biden Bernie Gillibrand

Barbie? Really? Ok, Hansel and Grettel, first came to mind. Problem doesn't change, how is she, Ok Do you think she could stabilize Iran as a first act, diplomaticly? Nobody is going to do that, not Reagan's Ghost, not the Pope, or an ex Pope, not some other person, the Iran situation isn't going to get stabilized like she offered.

A black women POTUS. The deplorable GOP’rs worst nightmare. And anyways you and your buddies here would never get behind a Democrat president no matter how aligned they may be with your core values.

Trump Derangement Syndrome in full bloom tonight. There would be no Trump Derangement Syndrome without Obama derangement syndrome. Why else would the GOP elect a man who does nothing but throw tantrums? Why else would they support a man who loves Putin and Kim? Why else would they elect a morally bankrupt individual? Why else would they elect someone who is an isolationist? Obama derangement syndrome was so bad that the GOP chose to elect a man that was a Democrat until only a few years ago. Who tweets out policy from the toilet at 5:00 A. M. Ronald Regan is rolling over in is grave.

We have people running for the democratic nomination who wish to force Americans onto government healthcare and take away their choices on healthcare.
We heard one, Swalwell, not just advocate that assault weapons be banned, but forcibly taken from people who already own them.
This is why people on the right focus on the fringe of the Democratic party. There are far more sensible candidates with far more logical ideas in this field.
I did find it refreshing to hear Mayor Pete say he has worked hard at solving the problem between the police and the black community but has thus far failed to accomplish it. Honesty is a refreshing thing to hear from a politician.
And dear old OCD, you say it's the Democratic party that wants Biden. I guess you missed the polling that proves it's the voters, not the party that wants him. But it's always a good thing for you to set up a straw man argument in case one of your left wing extremists don't get the nomination I suppose. I mean you already have your conspiracy theory beginning to take root.
There are some common sense candidates that I don't agree with on everything, but could see as our president.
The Dems do need to quit talking out both sides of their mouth on healthcare though. You can't say you need to reconnect with working people and then tell those working people they can't keep their healthcare. People working at places like GM, Ford, Chrysler and union trade people along with millions of others love their healthcare.
You can't force feed Americans things they don't want. You can't mandate what healthcare they have to have.
I'm all for a public option. If as is claimed it's cheaper with better benefits, it will draw everyone that's not insured, or has poor coverage and high deductibles right away. As time goes on, with better coverage and cheaper rates, more and more people will flock to it.
But when you support any candidate that supports taking anyone's guns or force feeding a government healthcare plan down the throats of Americans who are happy with their current healthcare, you're supporting a losing strategy.
I do find a couple of things those on the right say as pretty stupid though. They claim Democrats want a candidate that gives everything away. It's Andrew Yang who wants to hand out checks for $1000 dollars a month. His polling numbers? 1%.
Swalwell who advocates taking assault weapons by force if need be? %1.
So although the right screams loudly about Democrats wanting the candidate who wants to give everything away and a how they want to take away their guns, it seems only 2% of Democratic voters support a candidate that advocates any of that.

I can understand how expecting a president that can speak in complete sentences and isn't lying every time he opens his mouth may seem like a foreign concept to you, but you may "misnderestimate" just how important that may be. And in case you missed it, dead American soldiers coming home based on false intel has consequences. Ronald Regan is still rolling over in his grave.

Call it what you want, call me what you want, I don't care Pitt. But you are missing the forest for the trees. Maybe 1/3, I'd even say 3-4 of these dems as POTUS would ever push for medicare 4 all and do away with private insurance. Most of them are adopting this wildly popular stance of Bernie's to pander to progressives because they know what happened to Clinton in 2016 for assuming they would vote for her.
I don't have any conspiracy theories about this, MSM and the dem establishment do not want Bernie to be the nominee and anybody who listens and watches can see that. I love Bernie for what he has done but I don't expect him to get the nod. Warren stands a better chance than Bernie at this point but a more moderate candidate will win.
Pete, Biden, Kamala, Warren, and Bernie lead the pack right now but I wouldn't be a bit surprised in a candidate like Tim Ryan wins either. The struggle between center and left dems will tell the story come time for the primaries. And I personally think there are more like you than me in most states.
What I like seeing more than anything right now is the shift of the center back to the left and away from R-Lite of the last 30 years. We'll never see the party adopt a truly pure progressive platform but the tug-of-war this year is being won by progressives. IMHO that's what you and people like you dislike or are uncomfortable with and I get that because that's how I felt watching this shift to the extreme right.
Hell at one point I was hardcore republican, then considered myself an independent centrist about the time the tea party started. Teabaggers and then the trumpians drove me to the left because I refuse to accept even a little fascism. I love this country and watching this American GOPer taliban drag it down like it has repulsed me. I think it repulsed you too, but it didn't shift you as far left as it did me.
