Just a question here. How many controversial and divisive things that Trump has said would need to be quoted before you would be willing to feel there may actually be some merit to the fact he uses dividing our people to further his cause?
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

What do you think is "Trump's cause"?
I think it's pretty obvious. Trump wants to go down in history as the greatest U.S. president in history.
If this is Trump's goal, and he achieves it, the country wins.
Using Trump's name in the same sentence as "the greatest U.S. president in history" should be a felony... At least that's how it felt when I read that nonsense.

Bitter clingers hanging onto their guns and bibles.
I thought about this not long ago. With the way Trump's lies get echoed all over the net and in personal GOPer lives, a future historian with no real context of our daily lives would think his lies were all true.
Pretty disgusting for any white person, let alone Trump Jr., to retweet a racist tweet questioning somebody's "blackness". Entitled and privileged Rich boy Trump Jr is a joke and a disgrace.
once again, white people questioning non white people about their place of birth.
sorry, but i fully expect this kind of crap from the right. not even surprised.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

Is hard to tell what was said without the actual tweet, let alone pass judgment on it.

It's all over the news so won't be hard to find it. I'm not going to repost it...Trump Jr already did and it's pretty disgusting. I believe he has since deleted it. Idiot.
If this is the tweet, you guys are reaching. From the nytimes.
“Kamala Harris is implying she is descended from American Black Slaves,” Ali Alexander, a member of a right-wing constellation of media personalities, wrote on Twitter. “She’s not. She comes from Jamaican Slave Owners. That’s fine. She’s not an American Black. Period.”
Mr. Trump, a valuable Republican surrogate as his father faces a bruising 2020 race, posted the tweet of unverified information, then asked his more than three million followers: “Is this true? Wow.” By the end of the night, Mr. Trump had deleted his message, and by Friday, a spokesman said it had all been a misunderstanding.
"Is this true? Wow." That's disgusting now? If her father is from Jamaica, then she is not descended from American (US) slaves. She should not misrepresent herself. Didn't she learn from Warren?

Yep, because subtle racism being disguised as feigned ignorance of facts to instigate more racism... That's a reach! GMAB Jr. could care less if it was 'true', he just wanted his and his dad's followers to all see it. And you can tell he knew what he did because he deleted it quickly.
Sure - this re-tweeting of a racist style tweet "seeking the truth" was certainly no more racist than, say, claiming there were good people on both sides of a clash between white supremacists and protesters.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
Conducted online earlier this year, the poll quizzed 1,970 U.S. adults on their comfort level with seven theoretical situations: Learning a family member is LGBTQ, learning their doctor is LGBTQ, having LGBTQ members at their place of worship, seeing a LGBTQ co-worker's wedding picture, having their child placed in a class with a LGBTQ teacher, seeing a same-sex couple holding hands, and learning their child was learning LGBTQ history in school.
Gay people are paying the price for the confusion surrounding all of the other groups that have glommed on to the LGBTQ label. I bet if you stripped out just "gay", the answers would be different. Acceptance of gay people steadily improved for many years up until the whole discussion started to get distorted... with transgenders, grown men peeing next to little girls, high school boys/girls sharing showers, drag queens reading stories to kids at public libraries, little kid drag queens posing with naked adults, gender fluid, non-binary, 7 year olds on hormone therapy, lowering POW/MIA flag at a POW/MIA monument to raise the gay pride flag, cisgenders, polysexuals....
It appears that even the younger generation has had enough... sorry gay people are getting lumped in with that.

Trump predicted to lose reelection in model that forecasted Democratic takeover of House
The prediction model that accurately predicted Democratic gains in the House four months before the 2018 midterm elections says President Trump will lose his reelection bid.
The latest "Negative Partisanship" model by Rachel Bitecofer, the assistant director of the Wason Center for Public Policy at Christopher Newport University, released Monday, predicts Trump will lose the Electoral College 278-197.
Bitecofer highlighted Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania as states the incumbent will have difficulty winning this time around.
"The complacent electorate of 2016, who were convinced Trump would never be president, has been replaced with the terrified electorate of 2020, who are convinced he’s the Terminator and can’t be stopped," she said. "Under my model, that distinction is not only important, it is everything."
She also pointed to his low approval rating among independents as an impediment to a second term.
Bitecofer's model predicted a 42 seat House Democratic pickup in 2018, and the Democrats won 40. Many other models did not predict such a large victory.
She acknowledged the Democratic candidate has not been chosen yet, but argued it is not incredibly important who the nominee is.
"Does the Democrat’s nominee matter? Sure, to an extent. If the ticket has a woman, a person of color or a Latino, or a female who is also a person of color, Democratic Party turnout will surge more in really important places," Bitecofer wrote. "If the nominee is Biden he’d be well-advised to consider Democratic voter turnout his number one consideration when drawing his running mate to avoid the critical mistake made by Hillary Clinton in 2016."
"But the Democrats are not complacent like they were in 2016 and I doubt there is any amount of polling or favorable forecasts that will make them so. That fear will play a crucial role in their 2020 victory. We will not see a divided Democratic Party in 2020," she wrote.
Food for thought more than anything, but she has a point about where dems are mentally this time around. Dems from center to far left all believe one thing is more important than anything else and that is to get Trump out of the oval.
Harris surges past Warren to claim third place in post-debate poll
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) surged past Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) to rank third in the Democratic field after the first primary debate last week, according to a new Hill-HarrisX poll.
The survey, which was conducted between June 29 and 30 among 247 registered voters, found that 11 percent of possible Democratic primary voters chose Harris as first choice for president, compared to 9 percent of those who favored Warren.
This marks a 6-point bump for Harris from when an identical poll was conducted two weeks ago. The previous poll, taken between June 14 and June 15, showed Warren and Harris, along with former Texas congressman Beto O'Rourke (D) and South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D), locked in a statistical tie for third place.
Harris still trails Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and former Vice President Joe Biden by solid margins.
Thirty-three percent of respondents picked Biden as their top choice. Meanwhile, 15 percent of respondents said Sanders was their preferred candidate, which marks a 2-point bump from the previous survey.
Harris’s rise comes amid what many considered to be a standout debate performance during last week’s debate.
Harris stole the debate spotlight after criticizing Biden for invoking his working relationships with two segregationist senators as an example of "civility." The California senator also confronted the former vice president over his opposition to school busing to desegregate schools during the 1970s.
Biden called Harris’s criticism a “mischaracterization” of his views. He later tried to clarify his position, saying he believed that the issue should be resolved at a state level, and that courts, ad not the Education Department, should have set the rules on busing.
Harris has stood by her comments and picked up more support following the debate, including two endorsements from Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) members over the weekend.
Bernie holding firm at second and/or gets a small bump. Biden Down. Harris moves to third... This is the second poll I've seen today that shows this.
I like Pete, but he fell after the debate. I like Liz, but she fell after the debate. Kamala obviously won the debate but did not touch Bernie's numbers. Feel the Bern baby!
Trump predicted to lose reelection in model that forecasted Democratic takeover of House
One thing all of us who want to see Trump beaten need to remember is that predictions and polls mean absolutely nothing. At one point predictions had Bernie defeating HRC in 2016 and then pollsters had HRC beating DT in the election. It's all a farce and just fodder for articles as well as clicks. Nothing is said and done until the people vote and it's all counted and confirmed.
I think it's as the economy goes, and specifically near re-election.
I believe the best catalyst for Trump is actually mild recession in 2019 and rebound starts late 19 or q1 2020, which gives 6 months of roaring back to be the wind at Trump's back.
‘Pete is a fraud’: South Bend activists and former city officials demand Buttigieg resignation
South Bend activists and administrators have demanded the resignation of Mayor Pete Buttigieg after what they say is an inadequate response to a police shooting of an African American man.
"Pete is a fraud," former president of South Bend's Board of Public Safety Pat Cottrell told the Washington Free Beacon on Monday.
Cottrell said the 37-year-old South Bend mayor has a poor record on racial issues and administrative control.
"To start with trying to heal, the mayor just needs to resign," Mario Sims, a pastor and activist, said. Sims called Buttigieg "tone-deaf" on racial issues.
"I understand political ambition, I understand that," Sims said. "But you're playing games with the lives of the people here, and innocent police officers."
He said Buttigieg should quit politics until he has spent "some time evaluating this."
"Right now there's no way he can stand on the stage and honestly talk about the issues pressing this country when he can't even successfully address the dire issues of race, lack of diversity, and poverty, not to mention the homeless issue in this city," Sims said.
"If you can't even address those issues in a city of 100,000, my God, how can you address those issues in 50 states?" he added.
The South Bend mayor's administration came under scrutiny after Sgt. Ryan O’Neill of the South Bend Police Department shot Eric Logan after reportedly approaching the officer with a knife. O'Neill did not have his body camera on, and Logan died shortly afterward in the hospital. Logan's family filed a lawsuit against South Bend claiming excessive force against Logan.
Last Monday, the South Bend Fraternal Order of Police also condemned Buttigieg response to the shooting.
"Mayor Buttigieg's focus on this incident is solely for his political gain and not the health of the city he serves," the group said.
"Mayor Buttigieg's comments have already and will continue to have a detrimental effect on local law enforcement officers and law enforcement officers nationwide. Mayor Buttigieg’s comments and actions are driving a wedge between law enforcement officers and the community they took an oath to serve," the group added.
The former Common Council president Derek Dieter also said last week that Buttigieg should resign.
"Because of Pete's selfishness, in my opinion, he is still the mayor," Dieter said. "Everything that happens in South Bend shouldn't be on your mind. You should be concentrating on running for president. So, I'm adamant that he should resign as mayor."
Buttigieg has been forced to answer for the shooting on the campaign trail and in South Bend.
During the first Democratic presidential debate, California Rep. Eric Swalwell berated the South Bend mayor for his response to the shooting.
"But you're the mayor, you should fire the chief. If that's the policy and someone died," Swalwell said.
Buttigieg just glared at Swalwell instead of responding.
"It's as if one member of our family died at the hands of another," Buttigieg said after taking time off his presidential campaign to return to South Bend to address the police shooting. "And even as an outside process works to determine what happened, we already know why such deep wounds are surfacing, why our whole community hurts. But I also want to tell you that my community is full of people who believe in safety and justice. We will heal and we will become stronger in broken places."
Buttigieg was heckled in his return to South Bend by African American protesters furious at his response to the police shooting.
“You running for president and you expect black people to vote for you?” One woman shouted at Buttigieg.
"I'm not asking for your vote," Buttigieg replied.
“You ain’t gonna get it either," the protester said.
“Are you really here because you care about blacks, or are you just here because you want to be the president?” Another protester yelled at the mayor.
Buttigieg also held a town hall where protesters shouted "liar" and "we don't trust you!"
The South Bend mayor said he will take "more steps to change what is happening in this community."
Buttigieg announced Monday he had hauled in $24.8 million in the second quarter of fundraising for his 2020 presidential bid. He is currently polling fifth in a field of two dozen candidates at 6.5% according to RealClearPolitics.
It's Trump operatives in black face, lining up to 'fake news' the Mayor out of the race.
This whole thing is rigged... and another example of "fake news."
#southbenddeepstate
see what this place has looked like for the past 3 years?
I seem to recall the VA governor in black face, a democrat. That's what all of you seem to miss. The dems give money and housing away to blacks, as long as you stay 'over there' and vote for them. The dems are the ones that created jim crow laws. The dems are the ones that started the klan. The dems were the slavers in the south. The dems put up the statues they now want to erase. Black unemployment was at all time lows with a black (half white) president. Do you really think they care about you now?
They certainly care a hell of a lot more than the gop. The klan voted for the gop now. The white nationalist vote for the gop.
All the losers who thought Obama was a foreign born Kenyan Muslim, including those on this very board, vote gop.
The Dems haven’t done much for black people. What’s sad?, not much is still a crapton more than what the gop has done for us the last 40 years.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
Because they were all just worthless and on welfare when the dems were in office... not cool Erik.
Oh that's right, you Trumpians believe the left just wants to buy votes so we pass out just enough for people to live on to earn their vote... OR we set traps to keep people in slavery to handouts... There are plenty of other ridiculous theories and allegations just as ugly coming from the right and most likely Russia every day.
While you are touting the unemployment numbers why don't you explain how the incarceration rate of blacks affects those numbers. I'd also like a clear explanation of how those numbers are calculated in a 'Trump' report.
Either you totally missed my point, or simply used my post to further your own view.
The point wasn't the black face, Trigger. The point was all the patently absurd conspiratorial claims made by IQ45's supporters in some crippled attempt to make him appear somehow legitimate.
Hence, the final remark about how this place has looked for the past 3 years.
