I am home now, and OMG that was the single greatest fan experience of my existence. I'm blown away.

I will get photos/videos uploaded and tell the story. I'm just in awe.

Congrats again! I'm a little jealous, Portland forgot there was a playoff game (both men and women to be honest). I am very much looking forward to LAFC embarrassing Seattle next week. I'll be rooting for ATL the rest of the way.

Aw, thanks! I was hoping we would play you guys again. It was a bummer. I'm rooting for Seattle next week, otherwise LAFC hosts the Cup. I want the Cup here, because then I can go, if we beat Toronto. wink

Ok, storytime. I feel like I got run over by a bus. I guess from all the standing.

So my story starts at the train station. I was at the machine getting my ticket and this guy comes up to me and asks if I have hand sanitizer. And I was like "Um, no...." It was weird but foreshadowing.

So I get to the Stadium and it is a nice sunset.

I went to the Club enterance, and went in, and the first that happens is you have to walk through the tunnel to get to the Clubs. Which was pretty neat. They had us in a line roped off to the side and the workers and media people and such were walking up and down the tunnel.

So then they give me a wristband to show I'm allowed in the SunTrust Club. It's the most exclusive Club in the Stadium. There is also the Delta Club right next to it. Which is also awesome and same amenities, except you have to pay for your food and drink there.

Anyways, I didn't take enough pictures and my descriptions won't do it justice. But walking through the Delta Club was cool, everybody was happy, it was a really classy upscale atmosphere, and looked like there were nice restaurants in there.

Then I saw the field patio. So I walked out there, and I was standing on the field watching them water it pregame.

Standing on the field melted my brain. I knew it was gonna be awesome.

So then I had to ask directions to the SunTrust Club, it's like labrinth. So they told me the way and I found it and went in.

It's super nice in there. Leather seating areas. A giant bar.

This is the front side of the bar. Then I went around that and found the buffets. I thought it was going to like golden corral food or something. But nope, it was exquisite.

There were several buffets.

Here is the seafood buffet. I saw shrimp and oysters.

I skipped the salad buffet, which I regret. It wasn't like a salad bar, it was premade salad stuff. I will try it next time.

So I went to the carving station buffet and got this:

Catfish, steak, potato, and veggies. And calamari. I didn't get much, but I should have because there wasn't going to be time to stand in that line again. The food was amazing. I think they must have had a master chef come up with the recipes, because it was seasoned so well and I never tasted food so tasty before. Next time I'm piling it on.

So, after eating I went over to the bar and had a seat. I had some drinks.

Mojito

Woodford and Diet Coke. This was delicious and I had two of them and was feeling tipsy at that point.

Some weird picture of the back of the bar and TVs that I took. The music was bumping and everyone was having such a good time.

By then the Game was starting, so I left to try to find my seat, only I couldn't find the stairs to my section. So I walked back out to the patio and decided it was the best view I could have so I watch the game there the first half.

Some pictures of my view. It was awe-inspiring being on the field and seeing the players up close. They would run right past me. And seeing the crowd from that perspective was so cool. It was also neat watching the players foot duel with each other when the ball came my way. It takes it to a whole new level.

I made a short video, but it has people cussing about the refs so I won't post it. But if you want to see it, you can PM me. wink

Anyways here's some pics from the patio.

Then it was halftime. And went back to the bar for another Woodford and Coke.

And then decided I need to find my seat just so I can see what sitting in that section was like. Got directions, and found my seat.

It was an awesome view, here is a picture, but my phone makes the field look a million miles away, when it's not because it's row 16.

I really enjoyed the Game. We had 2 defensive starters out, and our Coach FDB had great substitutions to make up for it. We played well and dominated them most of the game.

The croud was amazing. Everybody was so loud. The stadium was rocking. And the people standing around me were really friendly.

Towards the end of the Game we were up 2-0, and I remembered reading that if I want player interactions I need to leave early to get on the ropes.

But I was so amazed by the whole experience I didn't want to leave my seat, and I figured I would try to get a selfie with players next time.

So, we won, and everybody was filing out, and I walked back into the Club and saw a big crowd of people so I walked over there. It was roped off so the players could come from the field to the tunnel. Everyone was lined up. I couldn't get too close but I tried to squeeze in.

Then the players were coming through and everyone was cheering! And they were stopping to sign autograph and do selfies.

I tried to get a video of this, but I screwed up, and took a 2 second video of someone's butt instead lol.

Anyways, our Goalie Brad Guzan ran by giving high fives and stuck my hand out there and touched his finger!! I was like WOW!

Then our starting Forward Justin Meram comes over to sign an autograph, and he's standing 2 feet away from me. I stuck my hand in there and he gave me a high five!!

So then I had stars in my eyes and I love him. I loved everybody. That was coolest thing ever. I was satisfied, so then I left.

During the process of going to/getting on the train, I realized that Justin got sharpie marker on my thumb.

I'm never washing my thumb again.

That was the most fun fan experience I ever had. I had a giant goober smile on my face the whole time.

And it wasn't even that expensive. If I can get a reasonable ticket for that next week, I'm going again.

I'm just so happy.

I like your drinking style as well. If I am ever in ATL or you ever come to PDX I'd definitely be down to watch a footie match with you sometime, I think it would be a laugh. BUT, we'd prob have to agree not to talk politics. wink

These fans are terrible. I get that the refs suck, but dont throw stuff at players. They dont have protective gear on.

Ah we lost. Toronto played tough, and Josef was off tonight. I read he hurt his hamstring on Monday.

It was a good ride. We won two cups this season, so I suppose we should let another team win once in a while. lol

If any of my videos dont have cussing, I will upload it.

Go Seattle!

These arent that exciting.

I was videoing when Julian ran down the field and scored that goal. And the crowd went crazy and we were all high fiving.

And I thought "This is going to be the best video ever! This never happens!!"

And then I looked at my phone again and it wasnt even recording. WELL DAMMIT. lol

This is the tunnel on the way to the Clubs. I think that's their locker room over there.

Stadium on a rainy evening.
Goodbye Stadium! See you next year.

So today was the MLS Cup.
At 3pm Eastern Time.

Way to go MLS, schedule your game in the middle of NFL Football.
Nobody gonna watch that.
Even the bar I was at refused to put the game on for me, because "NFL".
I was like....SERIOUSLY, AND YOUR'E A SPORTS BAR????

But whatever. Good job Seattle. I don't like Canadian teams. So, Ok.

In other News, congrats Columbus Crew, because my Nagbe is coming your way. He is really good. Be nice to him.

MLS still mad we took the MLS Cup to a strip club and let a stripper twerk on it.

Sorry Sounders, for the stripper glitter on your Cup. It washes off, I'd guess.

I actually did buy the hoodie. It's my most favorite thing to wear when I'm chilly. It's super good quality for 1.5 billion dollars.

And also, I think that screenshot came from Josef's phone. It think it's Venezuelan money. So there ya go, socialists. Do we really want that? No.

Rowdy Supporters Section from last night's win.

Soccer season is starting! So Y'all get to hear me ramble on about AU.

We are in the CCL (International Tournament) and just won our first round and go to the Quarterfinals!

And MLS starts for us on Saturday!

Time to get the party started.

I was really nervous about how this season would start because we lost a lot of starters in the offseason. And all the new people, I know nothing about.

But we seem to be starting strong so far, so I'll relax a little. Good win last night.

So we won the eMLS Tournament. I don't know that is, but apparently it's a thing. I wonder if the trophy is virtual.

I feel like a crack addict in withdrawls without my Atlanta United. I NEED the stadium. I NEED the crowd. I NEED my team. GIVE ME MY TEAM!! D:

I talk to my grandchildren about this all of the time. Somewhere along the way Americans have lost sight of the difference between want and need.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

MLS is starting up in the beginning of July!

They reworked the CBA and it is approved.

There will be a tournament held in Orlando.

I don't think there will be fans. But at least we have something to cheer for.

How is your bar handling fans and numbers? Will it be a wild watching soccer outing? Are they limiting the number allowed? Patio audiences with remote big screen?

I have done some bar work and I just wonder how you get the numbers up. Short of watching in Wisconsin, of course. they seemed eager to ignore some standards.

Hope you enjoy, Eve. Great news! Stay safe.

My bars have social distancing. So limited seating at the bar and every other table full. My sports bars have plenty of customers. My non-sports bars are struggling a bit.

They have enough TVs to make it work for now.

Not sure how it will work for NFL. Browns games are not their highest priority. I might have to go to the Browns backers bar to watch the Browns games.
